Great upgrade.
This is a very good upgrade to the Daylite Sling. Highlights: -New strap with zippered mesh pocket ( Five Stars). -New front design brings flexibility to the pack. Straps, carabiners or bungees can be added to customize (5 Stars). -Also NEW Double Zipper for the front small pocket. (5 Stars) - no dangling strap ( great upgrade) - The previous one was 6 L and this is 5L, however the possibility to add bungees or carabiners… compensates for the missing Liter from the previous model. I used the previous model (still have it) however this is a very nice update , worth the upgrade.

Adjustable carry strap is the
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adjustable carry strap is the clincher. Reminds me of my messenger bag and swings around just as easy for immediate access. The pouch on the carry strap is marketed for sunglasses, but it’s too small for that. I put my spork in there… The daisy chains are also a great feature on the front, allows me to strap on a water bottle along with a nite-ize carabiner or two. I was reluctant to get a sling until I got this pack, now my kiddo got one too and we’re both quite pleased.
My sling goes everywhere with me
I use my sling almost every day now! I’m travelling in Nepal and it’s just the perfect size to go around with the essentials without being weighed down by a big backpack. The front pocket is perfect for your refillable bottle, the main pocket has some really useful organising mini pockets and the design is just so thoughtful. Everything just works intuitively, with big zips and a sturdy feel. Really high quality sling - a travel essential!
I use my sling bag

Fits a phone and slim wallet in the front zipper pouch while having great space for 2 water bottles in the bigger pocket or a water bottle and sunscreen! Very versatile uses! Great quality! Strap is not too thick like a similar bag from another company. I definitely like this design better, as I returned the other one I purchased and kept my Osprey!!
The quality when I first
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality when I first looked at it impressed me. The zippers and pulls are solid. The straps are the quality I would find in one of your larger packs. I love the deep pockets and even the netted pocket has a zipper. The quality amazed me. I still have my 20 year old backpack from Osprey and I see this become easily one I will have for many years. Thank you Osprey.
Great sling
I wasn’t fortunate enough to own one of the earlier reiterations of this sling, so can’t compare, but I’m so glad I got this one Great size to hold water bottle, waterproof, glasses, phone plus more and very comfortable to wear. Have used it for both long and short walks. Days out around town. It’s great. For the other half one too, and he loves it.
Supplementary or Stand Alone?
A great little bag for either day excursions or using as a supplementary bag - on your chest- when traversing busy airports/ stations and you want to keep your valuables in sight. Day excursions I was able to pack a water bottle, small flask, compact camera, small binoculars and a notebook. Add the passport and wallet and I’m ready for the airport
Very comfortable sling bag. I
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable sling bag. I was using the fanny pack around my shoulder but it was not comfortable and then came across this bag. I have other ospreys so I knew it was quality to last. I am very happy with my purchase. It’s comfortable and small where I can walk around all day and barely notice I’m wearing something.
