Beautifully made and 100 percent cotton
I was looking for a 100% cotton pair of pants to keep me safe when working with hot or molten metals. I also like to look nice, and need comfort while bending stretching and crawling around on the floor for lost things. Which is a big part of my job. I am 5‘6“ tall and weigh 140 pounds and have a large waist due to extreme abdominal scarring. So I needed something roomy in the waist. I could probably have taken these in a size 10, but they were sold out. I’m keeping these anyway, despite them being a little bit loose. I hope they shrink up a tad bit in the wash. On my long legs, they are slightly cropped and I am fine with that. The front pockets are deep enough to hold my phone completely with nothing sticking out. The back button through pockets are generous, but not quite as deep. They still hold my phone with a little bit sticking up. The inside of the waistband is completely covered with a separate, sewn down piece of soft fabric which my sensitive abdomen super appreciates the corduroy fabric is wide whale and thick, but not too heavy. It is a very deep, navy blue almost black looking in the photos, but in real life it is a gorgeous shade and looks very rich. The website photos do not do these wonderful pants justice. They are some of the nicest casual pants I have ever owned!
