One bag failed
No, I do not recommend this product
We bought two of these bags. One started failing at the top seam near the handle after the first flight of our trip overseas (the checked bag weight 27 lbs not over-stuffed) see the attached picture. The kickstand on this bag, would not stay secure with its side clips and would start dragging on the ground as you pulled the bag along. Very annoying to say the least. The second bag may it OK. However, I am wary about future trips so I may return both bags to REI. Two stars because the other bag survived intact.
