Poor strap clasp mars otherwise nice hat
The hat itself is fine, nice brim. Haven't tried it out in the rain. I am disappointed in the strap. The clasp of the strap is faulty and continuously comes apart. I have to tape the clasp to make it stay connect. First time I've been disappointed with an REI product in over 40 years!
It worked well for me
I only used the rain hat a couple times so far, but it keeps my head dry, and allows me to turn my head and see to the sides, unlike the annoying hood that is attached to my outer layer shell. Price was comparatively reasonable.
