Please bring back purple version!

This was my favorite toque ever! Unfortunately, I shrunk it in the drier. Would love to buy it again but the colors are so masculine. Please bring back the feminine (purple gradient) version!

Love these toques!

Bought a new Gradient Beannie to replace another I’ve had for 15 years or so. I loved the old hat (which was brown and orange) but it’s finally starting to develop a hole in the knitting. It was my primary winter hat for that entire time and it was the warmest that I owned. The new hat (shades of blue) is the same size and just as warm and comfortable as my original. I’m still partial to the brown and orange, but the blue is really growing on me. Hopefully it lasts as long as the original!

I wouldn't recomend it

Other reviews said this was large and good for people with large heads. I have a really big head. This is too tight for me. The reason I gave it one star is because it is way to long to be practical for most people. Unless you had a wicked large set of dread locks or maybe a man bun you needed to fit in it. I think this one is a swing and a miss for O.R. Iv been meaning to send it back to them

Finally, A winter hat that covers my ears!

I understand why people would comment that this hat runs large because most hats are way too small for me and this one fits perfectly. I like a warm hat that covers my ears for less vigorous activities like dog walks and watching outdoor events in the winter. I have bought several of these over the years (I'm a chronic loser of hats and gloves) and I hope OR never stops making them!

I would not buy this beanie again

I purchased this beanie for a nearly month-long cruise of Patagonia and Antarctica. Though it felt it was a little tight, it worked wonderfully and kept me warm in summer time cold in the Falkland's & Antarctic peninsula. When I got home, I carefully washed it in cold water and let it dry naturally. unfortunately, it shrunk significantly. Great hat just don't wash it.

Sooo dissapointed

Last OR Gradient Toque I bought (few years back), looked the same, however it was 10 times thicker (the wool). The one I received in the last order feels like a thin T-shirt. I know companies are trying to cut costs and keep prices the same, but this is a new level of "cheap". I can almost see through it (the top). Soooo dissapointed in my purchase.

For me it's tactile; for others visual.

Over the years I've accumulated quite a number of Nordic beanies (toques). Nonetheless, on the first day I wore this Gradient Beanie I received numerous compliments: "Is that a new toque? Nice! The combination of colors is spectacular!" From my perspective, it's all about the soft feel. After all, wool has not really been surpassed; am I right?

SHRINKS WHEN WASHED

I bought mine this week and tossed it in a cold wash before wearing the first time. The hat shrank. I mean REALLY SHRANK. Don’t have any toddlers in my life, unfortunately— they would be the only human to be able to wear this. Hat is so small it can’t even be donated.

Warm; looks good

I've been wearing this beanie every day in 20(F) degree temperatures in all conditions (including a major snow storm over a three-day period). It's really warm and comfortable. The inside is soft around the ears. Looks good too; I have the blue (night) one.

One size fits most

This hat is warm, compact, and light weight. Perfect for hiking or putting on my head at night to say warm in the tent. My one warning is that it is actually a bit large for my head. If you have a small head, you may find it larger than you would like.
