PERFECT boots, but laces won't stay tied
Merrell makes the only boots and hiking shoes that don't set off my Morton's neuroma, which is a huge deal. I have an AA narrow foot and these are a tad wide in the toe yet narrow enough in the heel to stay on my feet, so they fit perfectly. My sole complaint about this particular boot is the laces don't stay tied even when double-knotted. None of my other Merrells (and I have about 6 pairs) do this. What happened, Merrell?! (Also, the pink accents are dorky. I bought these because I knew they would fit and they were on sale.)

long lasting and comfy
Yes , I recommend this product
I have these in another color and they've lasted me for 5 years through various outdoor jobs and hiking/camping. They are comfy and have conformed to my feet. Only complaint is that they do get warm in hot weather, but I think that is normal. I like the mid height, very versatile. The waterproof quality is great as long as you aren't getting your feet totally soaked.

These are wide
These are wide, but nothing on the web page says they are wide - I expected medium width. (I ordered 2 different sizes, both were wide. I had to return.)

These are wide width shoes. Mismarked online!
I bought these online because they looked similar to the Merrell hiking boots I have. I received a 9.5 W when I ordered a 9.5. I am going to try them and hope that with hiking socks they won’t be too wide, but I have a narrow foot so I will probably be returning these. REI needs to correct this error, these should show as wide shoes online.
