DEPENDS
Just got delivered. Guessing processed from a store. Not protected within a bag (besides mailing bag). Noticeable dirt smudges. Guessing not a return; still new smell. But not cool getting a new product that is dirty. Soft shell is very minimal/light vs a heavier material. Took me a while to figure out cinch mechanism (I am slow). The hood has some neck coverage; wish it came up more of chin/face area. The material on hoodie is different than soft shell body. Jacket more suited for aerobic activities. Got on heavy discounted sale. Can’t say I would recommend full price. Decent jacket on sale; not exceptional.
Perfect 'Do it all' jacket!
Finally, I feel like I found the perfect jacket for day-in and day-out use! This jacket breaths well, has a perfect fit (not too baggy, not a slim cut) and looks great! With some wind protection from NF's WindWall it has been perfect for blustery mornings along the coast, bundles up small enough (Not a backpacking shell, I wasn't looking for that), and looks great with work attire when needed.
