DON’T BUY THESE!

I purchased one pair this spring, and within a a couple weeks they developed cracks across the top of the shoes where they bend. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement pair. The same thing happened to the second pair. THESE SHOES ARE DEFECTIVE AND SHOULD NOT BE SOLD UNTIL THEY ARE REDESIGNED. Your feet will get wet once the cracks form. It is a real shame because I loved these shoes, they are very comfortable. I really feel I deserve a refund, or full credit towards a different style.

Leaky shoes

I want to believe I was just very unlucky but after wearing shoes a handful of times I got home with a wet sock (toe area only, on my right foot). This was after walking through mud (not even soaking wet mud). I contacted Muck Boots via Facebook and awaiting resolution. (They asked me to get shoes in water overnight, kitchen towel inside and see if the paper is wet - I did this during the day, just a couple of hours and it was very wet). Picture below is when I had them in sink after doing the test I was asked to do and you can see cracks on top, as well (no water entering through these, though). If I had to rate for comfort it's a 5 (after blisters the first day or two).

Order half size down from normal- otherwise- perfect!

I'm a landscaper and I also work with horses and this is a wonderful shoe for both- excellent waterproof quality and cleans easily. Extremely comfortable. I normally wear a 9.5 and ordered a 9.5 (in US women's size) because reviews said true to size, but for my next pair, I'll order a 9 because these run a bit big and when I'm bogged down in mud and muck, they have almost gotten sucked off my foot! The fit is just a bit off, I believe, so I will size down a half size from my normal shoe size. The easy on and off is a great feature. Overall I love them- definitely recommend and will definitely buy again

I don’t recommend

I also bought a pair last spring and had too major issues 1. They are sized incorrectly and run VERY large. I returned the first pair I ordered and replaced with a ladies size 6 and they were still too large. I really needed a full shoe for summer gardening (not a clog), so I kept them and put 2 additional insoles on them. They still flopped on my heels, so wore thick winter socks to keep them on! I’m normally a size 7.5 regular. 2. The shoes cracked and split after about 6 wears. I was too annoyed to even bother with trying to return the and get a refund. They went on the garbage last month.

Lost my shoe!

Out walking yesterday in woodlands, these shoes are really comfortable, when we cut through and came along a very muddy bit, with no other choice of route, my shoe got stuck in the mud just like a welly and it come off! so I am standing on one leg with a dog pulling me on her lead and yes I face planted the mud, by this time i was very muddy so crawled back, retrieved my shoe and got back to the path. :) I can say these shoes clean up easily on the 30c 30 minute wash in the machine (they were beyond sponging down) and are drying nicely on the radiator. I find the comfort of these shoes really good, but next time I will be wearing my muckboot wellies on that particular walk!! Live and learn!

If you're in these daily don't bother!

I bought these roughly 6-8 months ago and wear them daily for work (dog groomer). They've already busted out across the tops and leak. So I constantly have wet feet. I originally loved how comfortable they are, but it's not worth the short lifespan for the price point.

Exactly what I was looking for

These shoes are beautiful and perfect for gardening and when walking in muddy soil. They are easy to clean since they can be watered, and above all, comfortable. They really match what I have been looking for a long time. And for those that the information could help,my feet are 255mm long, I usually wear size 8.5 shoes, I have ordered outscape low boots in size 8.5 and they fit well. They are less tight or less adjusted than regular shoes but it allows you to put on thicker socks if you want, although they can very well be worn without socks. I highly recommend these shoes.

I'd probably give these shoes

I'd probably give these shoes a 5 star if the fit were better. I normally wear a 7.5 but based on reviews I ordered a 7, and should have ordered another half size down from there. They are also a wide, loose fit- similar to my muck boots. I was hoping they would fit more like a sneaker, with the benefits of being totally waterproof. I love the look of them and they are very comfortable if you can get past the loose fit around the sides and top of your foot. Also- I will mention that my husband wears a 10/10.5. I ordered him the 10 and 9.5 and he sent them both back for a 9.

Fell apart after 6 months

I bought these for walking my dog in the morning when the ground is damp. After only 6 months the uppers started to crack and pull away from the toe. My feet no longer stay dry.

GREAT shoes - runs large, size down!

I love these shoes! Most brands of shoes I wear a size 9/9.5 - but in Muck boots (edgewater and mid calf height) I wear a 10 so I can wear thick socks. With the outscape low I originally ordered the 9.5 but I had over an inch of room in the toes so I returned for an 8.5 which are Perfect! They are easy to slip on and have a snug fit that has it's the right amount of hold to feel secure without suffocating. I usually have cold toes in general but they keep my feet warm even with regular ankle socks, I can even wear a decent wool sock with these and still have a comfortable fit. Easy to keep clean even with the light tan -sort of mushroom- color, which I like. Great for wet mornings walking the dog, running errands, etc
