It's very lightweight and feels comfortable to wear, and the overall build seems solid. The only downside I noticed is that some of the trim details look a little rough or unfinished, and the stitching in a few areas seems slightly botched. Other than that, the feel of the shoe is good, it's comfortable, and the style is definitely a plus.

The size I got does feel a bit big but other than that they feel great to walk around in.

The design is classic yet elegant, and the brown leather looks very refined and easy to match with different outfits. The leather feels soft, and the stitching is solid, giving a more premium feel than I expected. When I put them on, they fit perfectly-snug but still very comfortable, even for long wear. The sole is also cushioned and provides good traction. This is my first time owning this style of shoes, and I absolutely love them. I will definitely buy more in the future.

They are strong and sturdy, so I know they will last me a while. I literally can wear them anywhere. Most of the time, I wear them when I go out to do errands. They are true to their size as they are neither too loose, nor too tight. Even after wearing them all day, my feet do not hurt at all. I highly recommend it as they will last a long time.

I purchased both the 8 and 8.5 in both this shoe and the lugsole (my preference). They both have gorgeous, deeply colored leather, comfy soles and attractive styling but no amount of adjusting, wishing or heel slip pads make them stay on my feet. The sad thing is that the original Timberland boatshoe (flat style sole) is designed for perfect heel grip. Why did they change it, I wonder. The original shoe is thinner in the heel, but the leather is formed to curve around the foot in a secure way. These have a nice soft padded bumper design at the top of the heel which would seem to be a good idea, but the leather doesn't curve in and the bumper is too soft to hold the foot in place.

The boat shoes are so classic they will go with everything. It provides good support and I have not felt any discomfort since wearing these. It may rub against the back of ankle but with socks it should be fine. So far very happy with these. I especially love the leather lace - they add sucha cute touch to the shoes.
