The North Face  Berkeley Field Bag

Very happy with functionality! The main logo gives a very vintage look, almost as if it's been washed, which was sort of a turn off initially. (Shipping also wrinkled the logo, but has gone away)

I love the three zipper pockets. It is the perfect size. Only change i would make is to allow for changing out the strap as i would like the option to carry as a shoulder bag.

Backpack - Field Bag, whatever you want to call it, I really like this back. I certainly don't own a purse and mostly carry a backpack or put my stuff in my cargo pockets. This bag is a bit different and well a bit classier than my backpacks. Its sharp and has just the right amount of pockets. The only thing I would love to see is a double zipper for the middle/main pocket. As it zips clear around the end, sometimes doesn't zip as easily and stays open risking items falling out. I would love to see it zip from both ends so you can meet this zippers in the middle of the bag, for better management and less chance to lose items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this bag and I'm not too impressed. Pros: The size is perfect, but everything else is not. Cons: The strap is too thin and seems like it will snag. Zippers are not metal so won't take as much wear and tear, and is one way only for the main compartment which isn't always convenient. The plastic accent on the front is so cheap and ugly, and the label is paper that will eventually tear off and look ugly. I'm still deciding if I'm going to keep it, and if I do I will remove both of those off the front. Not the north face quality I expected to receive for the price. This is a $20 bag at most.

Great quality, print is beautiful, exactly what I wanted. Zippers work well, straps are comfortable. all around an excellent bag for travel, everyday, and especially outdoor activities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying I liked the previous bag way better. This bag is bigger. When you have it on, the size doesn't matter because it's on your back. One zippers for the main compartment that goes all the way down the side. If you get rained on, your belongings are kept dried. So far, I've taken this to Hawaii and Disneyland, and it has survived our trips. Downside wish the main compartment would have two zippers to close off the side and make it for the bag to open from the top if I want it to. Buckle on the strap would be nice for alternative on and off option.

The Berkeley Field bag square shape holds a lot without looking bulky! Adjustable strap, gold tassle on zipper, wipe-clean material, black to match everything.
