Very versatile hat
This my go-to hat for hiking in the woods or open terrain. It is lightweight and packs well into a small space. I needed a hat with a full brim to cover my ears from the sun. Other hats I've worn tend to get a bit too warm. The Smartwool hat has hidden openings around the perimeter of the hat so it can always breathe. As with any Smartwool material, I won't hesitate to wear this hat in spring, summer, or fall. Living in Minnesota that's a tall order. I like the drawstring to sinch it down which may come in handy this Fall. I can give myself a little extra room and wear a light scull cap underneath. Overall, a very versatile and comfortable hat.
Cool, Comfortable and Packable.
I'm a cap person but always wear a broad-rimmed while hiking. I have many options but had yet to find the perfect hat. I was very pleasantly surprised with Smartwools Sun Hat. Super comfortable to wear, surprisingly cool and I can easily stuff it into my backpack when not in use. I now use the hat for general wear as it keeps my face and ears in shade and looks great.
Nice Comfy Noggin Protector
I bought this hat primarily to wear while kayaking and white-water rafting but will probably wear it to the beach and maybe by the pool. Because it's winter I haven't worn it yet but it feels sturdy and comfortable and I'm sure it will be especially on Idaho's rivers.
Nice Large Fit
Nice large fit for big noggins, but can be tightened with the drawstring to fit accordingly. The material is light and breathable. Good quality hat.
Fantastic hat
This hat is cool and comfortable a must if your an outdoor person looking for an adventure I just came back from Iceland and wore it every day

Love this sun hat. Use it all the time when I'm working out in the yard. It's also good for when going on long walks.

This hat is awesome, it blocks the sun but doesn't overheat me. Definitely recommend it.
