These shades have that timeless
These shades have that timeless look that is in style no matter what trends are trending. I’ve bought the cheap sunglasses that look similar, but there’s just something crisper and cleaner about Smith’s eyewear. The fit is as if they’re custom molded to fit your face and around the ears. The way the arms snap back when folded. Maybe it’s placebo? I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth though. No remorse!
SMITH Emerge
Quality lenses. Almost as big as XL models but snug. This is OK if you’re using them for active sport. Not uncomfortable. Frames are probably quality but don’t feel or look hi end like my Outlier XLs were. SMITH honoured their warranty and I was able to replace with this model. Overall satisfied. Will continue to buy SMITH for my sunglasses.
Good pair of quality active sunglasses.
Lens are clear and polarization is awesome. Ear pieces are a little tight on my head and can cause the sides of my head to be sore if worn all day, but they won’t fall off so kind of a plus :) Lenses are slightly tall for my preference. Loved Outlier 2 regular (not XL) lens size better. Still look decent on my face tho. I’m just picky :)
Great Fit
Chose these primarily for bike riding. Gives very good face coverage. Just enough curvature to protect yet provides good air flow for ventilation. Also find the VLT rating to be perfect for harsh sun yet also seems to do a great job in the shadows. I guess what I'm describing is the perfect pair of glasses.

another incredible product from smith , always great style and functionality, I have had a few pairs with lens that have delaminated, the chromopop , not sure if this is a common problem. the warranty is second to none. I’ve been wearing smith sunglasses for 30 years and do not even consider other brands.
Bought these for sailing, and
Bought these for sailing, and they have been amazing. Super comfortable and they feel great on my face. I have long eyelashes and the lens are curved also in the perfect way so my eyelashes don't flick the lens. On the water, I dont get the glare off of the water.
Fantastic Multi-purpose Performance
Glasses are great for all around use - I use them casually, hiking, and mountain biking. Clarity and color are great. The frame hinges have a really positive open/close engagement that feels very high quality. The nose and ear pads are super comfy and sticky.
You can’t fix stupid.
The chroma pop lens is the best. And the fit was great. Unfortunately after less then 10 minutes of wearing them a gust of wind blew my hat off with the sunglasses on top and they were gone so for the 10 minutes I wore them they were great.
Stylish protection.
Perfect fit and great feel. I use these for everything. Great protection for trail building, not only from the sun but from loose rocks and dirt when working on a tough section. Feel confident my eye are protected when I have these on.
Great lens clarity on these
Great lens clarity on these Smiths. They're just a touch large for my face (I would say I'm pretty average in terms of face size), but because of that, they give great coverage and with the right hat shape look just about perfect.
