Nice looking but bad fit.

I like the light-weight fabric and color of the Quarry which has a slight greenish cast that's more noticeable in indoor lighting. The fit could be much better. When standing up it has a mostly nice smooth line but when sitting It gapes a lot in the back of the waist. There is a lot of extra material in the front over the crotch area which looks odd and when sitting it bunches up. If I hadn't already worn them I'd return them. A smaller size might fit better but the size I bought fits my hips. I do have a curvy body, this might fit someone better who has narrower hips. If it fit my body better I'd give it 5 stars.

Love these pants!

These crop pants are incredibly comfortable, just the right length to wear all year round in Florida, and with roomy pockets for your phone or anything else you need to tote around. The pockets might be my favorite part: they are easily accessed, and are placed so that they hid any belly fat you may have. The fabric of these pants is thin enough to be cool, yet sturdy enough to stand up to all kinds of adventures. After losing some weight my first thought was to buy these pants again in a smaller size. Size 6 fits me perfectly at 5’4” weighing 127 lbs. Aventura had better continue carrying these pants forever!

Bought several: my summer uniform

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the most suitable summer capris with the Arden crop, and with a slightly flared hem, they look chic, rather than simply utilitarian. Extremely well made with thick (yet cool) fabric and double-stitching (mostly) throughout. The waist is slightly big on me: while I typically wear a size 6, I sized up because--to fit well, but not too snuggly at at the hips--there is little give in the cotton fabric. I wash in warm then cool water, and tumble dry, and they shrink slightly but begin to give once they warm to your body. Highly recommend.

Great style and fabric, absurdly oversized!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older pair of Arden's in size 4 and loved them. Had lost a few pounds so repurchased in both a 2 and 0 just to be safe. The new Arden's in size 0 are the same as my much older Arden's that are size 4. This degree of vanity sizing is ridiculous! I am 5.5" and 120lbs, and the Arden pants in size 0 should not be falling off of me. Had to send everything back.

Great feel, sizing way off

I do love these bottoms for the look and the feel but the sizing is completely off. I typically wear size 6; they were way too tight. But, the same style in the shorts version was way too big in a size 6. I was in a shop so I actually got to try them on. I ended up going with an 8, cause I like them so much, and just wear them tightly belted. But now that I’d like to order another pair online, I’m not sure which size to order as another reviewer expressed the same experience.

Sizing is messed up!!

I ordered a pair of my normal pants size of 10 and couldn' get them past my hips. The size I ordered several months ago, a size 12 are SO BIG I’ve had to was several times in hot water and dry the heck out of them BUT still need to cinch them with a belt. There should NOT be such a huge difference in sizing! I go from a size 10 to 12’s in other brands and they are only slightly different. What is it with Aventura?? NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM YOUR COMPANY!

Give them a try!

Got the quarry color which is a good neutral. Wasn’t sure they were the right fit,( felt a bit snug in waist at first) but gave them a try and wore them. They loosen a bit after wearing. I like the length and the side slits. Fabric is soft and comfortable. Not a huge fan of the wide belt loops however, that show through some tops and look lumpy. Glad I gave them more of a chance than the first try on. They were a little pricey but I think they will be fine.

Well made, looks great only 1 complaint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Your sizing is highly inconsistent. I ordered 2 pairs of pants both in size 4 - one fit loosely and the other was way too large. I later ordered 2 pairs of pants both in size 2 - one fit ok (little snug) and the other was WAY too tight. The unpredictability in sizing would be very discouraging to customers. I hope this can be fixed because I love your clothing, but time spent sending things back is enough to make me shop elsewhere.

Good style nice weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love most you’re pants and longer shorts . Hope you keep adding colors . Love the Arden crop . I will say the Ballard crop I wish I had returned, they are a bad fit ! The waste band goes lower in back the fabric is very cheap and they don’t wash nicely . It’s the only time I got a product from here that’s bad . I regret wearing them once so I could not return . Unfortunately a waste of money for me . They will go to goodwill 😏

Comfortable fabric

Really like the feel of cotton and these are light weight. They feel soft and good on my legs. Will be great for summer! I usually buy neutral colors and like this warmer taupe. I don’t like the flare at bottom. The slits really accentuate the flare. They fit great everywhere but on my calves. They are too wide. Should rather they were straight and a bit wide. I’m going to keep them anyway and put my sewing machine to work.
