Moisture wicking and fast drying! I wish I had more.
I had just purchased two pairs of plain 'ol' non-natural fiber running shorts before seeing those when browsing for SmartWool socks. Now I wish I had purchased several pairs of these shorts prior to getting the other two pair. I like to run without undies (hence the built in liners with so many running shorts) and these dry LIGHTENING FAST, minimal to no odor. These could be the only pair of shorts I ever wear had I not just bought two other pairs elsewhere. :(
Love these! Great new addition for my closet
Needed a new run short and casual wear around the house short and these are it! They fit like a glove which can be hard to find as someone with an hourglass shape and a big butt. They are the perfect length! Not to short but not to long. The only feedback is. . . I wish the liner was removable. The liner is super comfy but I am prone to wedgies with bikini underwear when I run.
Comfortable but weird fit
these are very comfortable and I love knowing the liner is not made of polyester or nylon. I do like these shorts but they are not the most flattering. They seem long and overly loose/baggy. It sort of feels like you're wearing a balloon for shorts. They have a pocket on the left side in the front which is very functional. If you don't care too much for aesthetics, get these!
I would buy these again!
I bought these as running shorts and they fit the bill beautifully. The waistband is comfortable and the remainder of the material is light and quick drying. They are true to size and the zip pocket for valuables is spot on-not too small and not too big. I find Smartwool products to be of good quality and these did not disappoint!
Could Use Sizing Adjustments
The waistband and the liner are fairly restrictive on these. I'm usually a medium to large in athletic shorts pending the brand, but in these, I'd be more comfortable in an XL because the waistband is so tight. I have an hourglass shape body and a waist being too small is rarely an issue for me.
Meh
I don't love the elastic waist band, as it is reminiscent of men's boxer shorts. Very comfortable, but I was hoping fabric would be more like the two pairs I bought about 5 years ago. Still four stars as quality is good … I just like my old ones better.
My favorite shorts ever
I love these shorts! They are super comfy, just the right looseness for me! < 3 I have been wearing them for every run and walk for 2 weeks! Easy to hand-wash and drip dries fast. I got another pair and my best friend did as well

The material was comfortable and the liner fit well; however, the outer layer was too big and loose. I liked the pattern of the print and the waistband, but unfortunately, the shorts were too ballooned for me.
Almost perfect
These are great shorts! Super breathable, functional, and cute. My only complaint is the lining inside the shorts are a little tight like underwear. I wish that they were compression shorts instead!

The shorts are very comfortable. I usually wear medium athletic shorts but went up to a large, which fit perfect.
