The Cold Weather Vans I've Always Wanted
I love Vans shoes. As a Gen-X former BMXer, they've been my go-to shoes since I was ten years old. In fact, I don't think that there has ever been a period since I was ten that I haven't owned at least one pair of Vans. As an old, though, I'm partial to the Old Skool design. So, as Vans has been coming out with these hefty cold-weather shoes, I've been looking for some that are exactly this. Reminicent of the Old Skool, but with all the cold weather functionality they've been perfecting. I just super dig the look of these, and while I've not yet been able to experience them in super cold weather, I know they'll be great. One thing to know before you buy them, though... They are HEAVY. These are not the kind of shoes you will forget you have on. You're not going to want to trek long distances in these things, but they are so burly, warm and waterproof, you'll feel like you can take on any (other) situation!
