Best handheld I've ever held!

I've been running around with this radio in Baja for the past month. It's done close to 3,000 miles with me and counting. About to do another 1,500 to Cabo and back. It's been on multiple boat trips and in the water several times. It's been a busy month! This is hands down the best handheld GMRS I've every hand my hands on. The quality of the build is obvious and the charging system that comes with it is great for throwing it in my truck. We run guided trips in Baja so communication with radios is very important to us. Working with Midland radios has given us a user-friendly reliable solutions and this new handheld just took it to the next level!

A user friendly repeater capable GMRS handheld

The stand-out feature of this repeater capable GMRS handheld is that it is actually user friendly. The menus and user interface are easy to understand and configure. Some other notable features: * "Split tone" capable for repeaters that have a different privacy code for input and output * Built-in ANC, automatic noise cancellation * USB-C and 12VDC socket recharging

Great Unit -- Unfortunately NO USB-C Charging Port

I bought this last week and had really high hopes, but I totally mis-read the specs list.....there's no USB-C secondary charge plug. This is a huge issue for such a modern radio, because every other part of this unit is exactly what I want in a handheld GMRS radio. It was definitely a mistake on my part for not reviewing the specifications, but I just also assumed it would be like my other modern GMRS devices. Other than this lack of a USB-C charging port, this is an awesome radio and its working out around the house and its easy enough that the rest of the family can use it like a simple FRS radio. Midland, please add the USB-C port so I'll be up for buying the next 2.

GXT67 Pro go to handheld

The new handheld is a game changer. The fit and function of this radio is great. The radio provides the ability to work with repeaters which is a welcome addition. The screen is large enough to see and work with in any environment. The radio is my new go to when working in the outdoors. The radio sounds great and the controls feel great.

Feature Packed

I’ve been using the GXT67 Pro for several weeks, and there’s a lot to like about the radio. The majority of my GMRS use is on repeaters, and I travel a lot, so the simplicity of the “Privacy Code” menu to enter repeater tones is great. I can program the radio for a repeater in seconds. And I appreciate that the radio does split tones for repeater use. Some other things that get a thumbs up: The ability to select between narrow and wideband, the handy lighted keypad, and IP67 rating. Overall, the GXT67 Pro is a very good do-it-all GMRS radio.

Amazing but no USB-C charging in 2024?

I want to 100% love this radio but the proprietary charging situation is kind of ridiculous for a radio released in 2024. Hey Midland I'd love a fast charge cradle yes, but also please include a USB-C port for the update, I don't want to have to buy multiple cradles as backups when I have a ton of USB-C cables. Range is great, UI is awesome, build quality is killer, just the lack of easy charging is unacceptable. I won't be taking these camping but they'll stay on the property for my kids.

5W + Waterproof + Best Battery Yet

Midland has a waterproof radio! It's not often there's a handheld radio that comes to market worth getting excited about and this GXT67 is the exception! We've run a few trips with two of these now and they are ideal for guests that don't have a base unit in their car. The overall design of the radio is just fantastic. Good size screen, loads of options and somewhat sleek. Also, we ran it for 3 days w/o recharging and still had battery power when we returned home.

Stay Connected on the Trail

After picking up Midland's new GXT67 PRO handheld for our overlanding trip, we were impressed by its exceptional 5 Watts of power, ensuring clear communication even in remote areas. Its repeater capability came in handy as we traversed vast landscapes, extending our two-way radio range significantly. The heavy-duty design, boasting an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, proved essential in withstanding the elements during our journey. With up to 4 days of battery life, we didn't have to worry about running out of power while exploring off-grid destinations. Additionally, the intuitive menu interface made it easy for everyone in our group to use, enhancing our overall experience. Overall, the GXT67 PRO handheld radios were an indispensable companion on our overlanding adventure, providing reliable communication when we needed it most.

Most Amazing and Easiest To UseHandheld GMRS Raido

The GXT 67Pro is by far the easiest GMRS radio I have used. MidlandUSA made the functions, display and features so easy to use. Setting up groups was an easy way for me to preprogram my different Jeep groups for my preset channels. I love the car charger it comes with. It snaps in the base and doesn’t fall out when wheeling. I will definitely be purchasing another radio and the data cable to open more channels.

Fantastic GMRS Handheld

Got this a few weeks ago and it's quickly become my go-to handheld on the trail. It's the perfect high powered handheld when spotting and outside of the rig! Battery longevity has been fantastic. I'm heavy handed on my gear, so the rugged construction and the dust and water proof casing is essential for me. Intuitive to use and easy to read the screen! Another bullseye from Midland!
