works great
So far tis great - I tried to do training for a hyrox race with my apple watch and hated that I couldnt switch between run and hiit - if I put it on run then I would get my pace that I needed but then as soon as I did the 1km then hit a station the pace was messed up. If I put it on HIIT then I dont get my running pace, but I get my heart rate zone info I want. Now with the Amazfit I can put it on hyrox training or for my sims I use the hyrox race mode and its so so nice to help track and make sure I am keeping up with the pace I am shooting for for the runs and the stations.
Everything you need without fillers
Watch really surprised me on all fronts. Lightweight, bright large screen, amazing battery, good auto workout tracking, sleep tracking, food tracking etc. With an iPhone I get everything I need which is app, call, text notifications… which if they are important I just grab my phone anyways. So for me there is no downside. Let’s talk about the battery. I received my watch and it had over 55% battery. 7-10 days later after I tracked a bunch of workouts and a gps tracked walk I had 35%. Amazing battery life!
Decent value smart watch
Good value. The watch has a lot of functions, for me, might be too many. I want my heart rate, distance & to be able to answer/make calls. It does that pretty well . I saw the Active 2, it was a little too small, the active Max, is too big. I wish it were a little smaller, maybe square, wasted space on a round screen. The band is ok, not the most comfortable. They tell you to keep it tight for accurate HR, but the clasp digs right into the skin. Overall the app setup is good, no problems. It has a set of metrics comparable to more expensive watches. I bought a protective cover since its an amoled screen, but it makes an already big watch bigger....so might remove that. The battery lasts pretty long, I had 5 days before recharging. Ill prob look for a different band to, but hard to beat the price & value.
Decent Sport Watch With Issues
I bought this because I like a bigger watch, but was disappointed that the case size is only 45mm compared to the quoted spec of 48.5 mm. Still, the watch looks good on the wrist. One annoying issue for me is the watch keeps asking for my PIN code, mostly when I take the watch off to shower, etc. I don't mind entering the PIN when I put the watch back on, but the it keeps asking for the PIN, although sometimes I can bypass that request by simply pushing one of the side buttons. Lots of functionality and, like my BIP 5, the health monitoring functions work well and seem to be very accurate, although I the operating system isn't as intutitive as I would like. Lastly, I'm not crazy about the watch faces how the faces look on the watch. For some reason they look cheap, not like you'd see on a more expensive watch. My BIP 5 watch faces look better. Despite all the negatives, it works great to help me stay in touch with my overall health and daily workouts.
Nice upgrade
I upgraded from the Active 2 and love the bigger screen and longer battery life. The watch is beautiful and works as advertised. They perforated sport band is a nice touch. I love the larger face which makes it easier to see. Even though it's larger, it's still very lightweight and fits well on my wrist.
Love
So far, I have only used my new watch for a couple of days, so I am figuring out how compares to the Apple Watch, but so far I love it. I love the big screen, and I love all the data that comes with it. I am still figuring out how to use the workouts to my advantage, but so far so good!
Great watch
So far I've been using the watch in my training for the February 15th marathon in Austin, and I'm very pleased with it. It's lightweight, the screen size and quality make it very easy to read, and I haven't had any problems with the GPS.
Wow
This has been great so far. I love the features and everything sees accurate, or at least consistent. The best part is only charge it about once a week instead of it running out of battery by sometimes not even the end of day.
So far so good
I have only had it about a week. But I love the app so easy to use and understand. The screen is tough I have already been doing plumbing at home in the yard, camping and kayaking with it not a single scratch.
