I've never had a positive feeling about the BOA system. But I wasn't able to back it up till I tried it when my favourite boot came with the BOA system. Gosh, I wish I stuck to my feeling, they never stayed tight, the reason buying Malamute is to be locked into your boot. When you have play and have to tighten them every run than what's the sense of buying (not so) stiff boots. Going back to the regular fast lacing system which I only have to tighten once in the morning and maybe another time after a lunch break.
quality of materials is good. liner la lacing feels not as good as burton quality. these arr not boots made for moguls and irregular terrain, as theyre so sriff you cant bend your legs
This boot goes on easy with the Boa stuff, but shines riding, it's a bit stiffer than most boots, great for holding tight lines, but comfy in the park or hiking the halfpipe all day.
