Great day bag for canoe tripping

I picked this back up before a recent 5-day canoe trip in BWCA. It had to have pack steps and hold a pretty large fly box (10x12x4) plus all the other assorted items in the boat during portages (water bottle, coffee mug, folding net, odds/ends. The wet compartment on bottom mostly kept the main compartment out of the floor puddle so it worked pretty well for the purpose. A water resistant version would be even better for that purpose. I will say the pack strap clip springs are really strong and make disconnecting straps annoying. Not sure why Fastex buckles would not have worked.

Perfect for work

I have to carry a lot of heavy items for outreach work in schools. This provides the perfect combination between a comfortable rucksack for travel, and a grab-and-go tote bag as I move around the schools etc. It's large enough to hold all my work items without damaging them, and my laptop is secure in the laptop pocket. I love the outside bottle pockets which hold water bottles snugly and keep them completely separated from anything that could get damaged if there's a leak. If it had a key loop, it would be perfect! I wish I'd discovered this bag sooner.

Perfect size

I was looking for an extra bag for travel. I travel light but like to buy souvenirs and gifts when traveling. I will also use it as a one to two day overnight bag when travel requires taking along only essentials. This bag fits the bill! It packs down to a pouch and is sized between the medium and large nylon tote.

Versatile large tote/ backpack

Excellent traveling tote. Well made and versatile design is well thought out. Love the ability to convert to a back back that is secure fitting and well balanced. Has many useful features; outside stretchable pockets for water bottle and maybe a light windbreaker. Outside straps to hold a yoga mat or blanket, slide pocket to go over roller bag handle, a separate bottom zippered section to store shoes or wet articlles, lots of internal space for weekend treks. Will get plenty of use from this bag. Thank you Osprey!

BIG convertible backpack tote!

This is a great backpack for everyday or especially for travel, which is why I bought it. Converts from a tote to a backpack. Has a strap that fits over your luggage handle for easy transport. And it is huge with tons of pockets, holders for water bottle/umbrella on each side. The only negative for me is that it is kind of wide, where I would prefer more of a taller, slightly thinner shape. But that's being picky. Great choice overall!

Perfect for students and 1 night trips!

Love this backpack, probably my favourite purchase of the year! Very comfortable as I have a short torso and have a lot to carry for university as a medical student (laptop, change of clothes for placements/part time work, stethoscope, lunch etc). Great for food shops. Used on a few 1 night trips and there's plenty of space. Also great for day hikes when sharing with 2 people's provisions, slightly large for 1 person.

Very nice bag!

Very versatile bag. My wife enjoys it as a carry on bag because it fits under a plane seat and on top of her luggage bag. Additionally it’s great for adventures in backpack mode. The backpack straps can get tucked away. We haven’t had it that long but very happy with it so far. The purple color is lighter so it does stain easily.

Perfect for moms on the go

Motherhood is all about schlepping, whether things or people. This bag makes it easier! I use this as a gym/book bag combo for myself; depending on how long we'll be out for the day, it can also hold my child's items. When I need the full diaper bag, I throw this pack into tote mode and I'm good to go.

Just what I wanted

Really pleased with the bag. Great hybrid rucksack/tote. My only concern is the small straps for the backpack element- they dont seem very wide for the amount of weight the bag can carry. Nothing has happened so I may be worried for no reason I am just conscious I don’t want to add too much weight

Spacy, very compact according to how you use it. I usually bring it to trainings on my back and a support luggage with on my shoulder. Very good that you can convert it. I like the shoe holder on the bottom, conveniently fit a pair of shoes of 44 size. Enough pockets to store your stuff.
