Good balance between indoors & outdoors
Not fuzzy bedroom slippers at all — these are soft slip-ons constructed of closed-cell foam sandwich between a tough, dirt-resisting outer skin of some polymer and a very basic sueded inner lining. With a fairly stiff rocker outsole and trail shoe-like sueded toe cap. Pretty light, pretty comfortable, they stay on my foot and shrug off short, damp trips to the outside. Deep snow or mud, slush, puddles — obv not a great idea. Would recommend to anybody wanting a hybrid slip-on like that. Half a size up from my regular shoe size turned out to be perfect, so fit might run a little small.
Probably nice if you don't mind the toe box rise
I really like the look and material of these shoes. I was hoping they would be super comfortable easy to put on as well. I felt like they were a little harder to put on than what I had hoped but still would have kept them if they had fit better. I am pretty sure I had the correct size because of where my toes ended. The issue I had with them is that it seemed like the toe box rise put extra pressure on my big toe making them uncomfortable just sitting around in them. Potentially that could have relaxed after a break in period but I was not willing to risk it so I sent them back.
Why sir, Whyser
Been buying KEEN for too many years to remember and hadn't seen these on their website. Needed some house shoes that are easy on/off that can survive accidental trips outside in weather. Also need more support than typical slippers due to past foot surgeries. Would appreciate just a tad more support but very much appreciate this style coming out in a half size!! A bit steep at $100 but well made and working well so far.
Keen Slip On warm Shoes
Very warm and light. In fact surprisingly warm.
Keen Recovery shoes
very comfy and nice looking shoes. They did run 1/2 siz smaller as noted but they were wide so heel was too loose - unfortunately, I returned same day.
Great indoor slipper/shoe.
Nice soft insole. Easy to clean nylon upper. Wide toe box for all day comfort.
I bought for comfort
I was looking for camping (and other times) slippers. These aren't the ones I thought I wanted, but they were by far the most comfortable for my wide, high instep feet.
Light and comfy
The Whysers are light weight and comfy. The quilty upper is not too hot. They aren't a hands-free slip on - it takes a finger to get past the heel. Easy, but I was hoping to just step. The sole turns up quite a bit in front, which might facilitate walking, but when standing still it feels a bit like one is tipping forward. I'm on the fence about that.
Perfect for Camoing and Long Drives
I purchased these specifically for camping and they were perfect. I used them as a “slip on” and had no issues whatsoever. Extremely comfortable. They are true to size and worth every penny I spent on them. I decided they were now my car driving shoe as well. For camping and driving I wanted something easy on and comfortable.
