Mammut  Sender IN Hooded Insulated Jacket - Men's

Looking forward to using this jacket for keeping warm in between climbs or around camp. Very warm for the weight. It does not pack down as small as some of my other outdoor jackets but those jackets aren’t nearly as warm as this one. The hood is full coverage and nice to have when it’s cold and windy.

Weight to warmth ratio - excellent. Durability - have the older for 2 years and took it to climb Antarctica. Quality. And finally the looks - modern fit and always get compliments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is perfect for medium cold conditions, let’s say everything inbetween minus 5 up to 10 degrees centigrade. If you have to deal with colder conditions I would recommend an extra layer for isolation. The jacket is light, comfortable, and has a nice fit if you have a normal bodyshape. Another positive thing is it’s breathability. I’m 182 cm tall and have a normal body shape so it’s perfect for me.

Warm, yes. But it’s kind of an unflattering cut. I know a puffy will never make you look great, but this has some Michelin-man type of effect on you when you wear it. The material is also a bit off. It feels nice but it gets really dirty very quickly. Just holds onto dirt way more than most jackets. My last complaint is that the zipper is “backwards”, at least for what 99% of men’s outerwear is.

Very warm jacket. It runs smaller than most jackets in this size range. But I like the tighter fit as the first insulation layer (over a base wool and a fleece). I generally wear a shell or secondary jacket over top depending on the temperature for skiing. The zipper is opposite of USA style menswear, but that's not a problem.

Very warm definitely will keep you warm in negative temperatures. feels like a quality built coat that will last for years. Only negative and it’s not really a negative, the zipper is on the left. Fit is very true to size as well, I’m 6’2” 180lbs ordered a Large and it fits perfect.

I bought it for my boyfriend and he loves it, good design, quality and usability.

I love this jacket. Just the right balance of warmth to weight.

Great jacket; I use it under my shell when out on the slopes.
