- Zip-out jacket has heat-trapping horizontal baffles
- Outer shell has a 2-way, full-zip closure with a stormflap that secures with hidden snaps to lock out the cold
- Outer shell has an adjustable, snap-on/off hood for warmth
- Tall, zip-through stand-up collar opens and lies flat for cooling off
- Both the shell and zip-out jacket have handwarmer pockets lined with brushed tricot and secured with zippers to keep valuables safe
- Zip-out jacket also has a zippered interior left-chest pocket
- Outer shell has front and back princess seams; the zip-out jacket has attachment tabs
- Above-the-knee length and now a regular fit (instead of a slim fit), so it layers easily over fleece and sweaters
