Good fit, stays while running, great warranty
My usual complaint about sunglasses is that they pinch around my nose and don't stay on (for reference I have a wider bridge). However I absolutely love the Yubas and they are comfortable and most importantly STAY on. I have taken them running and on several backpacking trips and they are still in great condition. Maybe unpopular choice but I much prefer them over Goodr - in quality and style. My only complaint is that some of the Sunski mirrored lens' (not Yubas) are prone to scratching easily. This is not an issue for the Yuba lens. Sunski also has fantastic warranty if you damage the frame. I had the classic pair for 5 years and they finally cracked at the bridge. I sent them to Sunski and they gave me a 70$ credit for another pair.
Great design, but quality issues showed up later
I really loved these sunglasses — they looked stylish and were very comfortable to wear. However, after some time, a cloudy, glue-like residue started to appear around the edges of the lenses, just like in the photo. It makes the view quite blurry and affects the overall look as well. It’s such a shame because I truly liked these sunglasses, but I’m not sure I’d buy the same pair again knowing this could happen.
Decent sunglasses, good customer service
Bought these and immediately after getting them wet there was water that got between the polarizing film and the glasses. Months later I contacted Sunski and they sent me replacement lenses due to the defected coating. While the replacement lenses are free, they are IMPOSSIBLE to fix. I've been passing the replacement instructions and lens around to my family like a pickle jar that won't open. No luck so far. I like the style and frames but I wouldn't want anyone to go through this problem.
Does the job!
These glasses stay in place even on my narrow nose bridge. They do protect from the sun but the lens color is pretty light so you can see right through them (no people watching). I have a slightly larger head so the arms to fit tight but not unbearably.
Yuba Amber Tortoise Discontinued
Loved how flattering these are on my small head/face. SUPER SAD MY FIRST AND ONLY PAIR BROKE… AND THIS COLORWAY IS DISCONTINUED. The Forest green is a lot darker (almost black from afar) in person. I’ve tried on other Sunski tortoise frames with amber lenses and none of them are comparable to the Yuba Tortoise Amber. If you love your sunglasses, get a second pair of the exact one you love just in case it gets discontinued. The warranty doesn’t mean much to me if I can’t replace it with a pair that I will love just as much.
Would buy again
Was looking for an eco-ish pair of sunglasses and was happy to find these made of recycled plastic in store. Purchased the tortoise/blue option. For the price, they're great. Lightweight, block the sun (but make colors vivid), and don't slip on a sweaty face while hiking.
Super light and environmentally right
These glasses are very light and have just the right shading. I will make these my trail running choice. They fit tight on a larger head size, but that keeps them on your face when jumping around a lot outdoors. Good for climbing too.
Great sunglasses
These sunglasses have been incredible! They did not cause any problems with my sensitive eyes, and they block the suns rays when I'm driving. All in all they have done the job and look attractive too!
Great fit
Great fit! This light weight style makes a perfect pair of sunnies for traveling. They also came with a nice pouch for easy storage/lens protection.
Favorite sunglasses
These are a snug fit for my small head. Usually hard to find ones that fit. Lenses are terrific.
