New favorite jacket!
I panic bought this jacket right before a 300 mile overnight bike race. Low wind, but it still got down to 32 degrees. This plus a fall weight long sleeve jersey was perfect. Perfect combo of warm and breathable. Even had a minor crash on a dirt road and barely a scuff! Thank goodness because I love her so much.
Excellent, smooth, super lightweight, and translucent jacket
Love it! Everything is amazing about this jacket. The fabric is super lightweight and super smooth. The zipper functions perfectly without snags so far and I don’t expect it to. This jacket is so well designed and constructed. I bought the black version too. It is partially see through but I have decided I don’t care. I love that it can pack into itself too. Five stars all around! Oh, I have not tested it in the rain in case anyone is wondering, but I am not reading anywhere that it is waterproof so I would not buy it with that expectation.
My 2nd Airshell Jacket!
I now have this jacket in both the standard and hooded style, and one of them is always in my pack! Great three-season option for summits and now my go-to outer layer for ascending during winter hikes. The wind resistance provides warmth without weight and has better breathability than a shell to keep me from overheating. Excellent piece of gear.
Great jacket
Great jacket I wore it a few times while bicycling. It’s very light but offers quite good protection against wind and cold. So far I really like it. I usually wear medium sized and that’s what I ordered. Fits a little loose but not too big.
