Sizing wrong
The good part was the product was delivered within 4 days of the order. The bad part was the jacket was way too big for me. I tried to follow the sizing chart but it's misleading. Particularly the waist sizing is off. I ordered a Large based upon waist but the jacket was like wearing a tent. I sent it back. This is not the first time I've been burned by trying to follow the sizing chart on a product. And having to pay for a return is aggravating. Why bother ordering on line?

Great jacket for the rain. I got this for my trip to Yosemite for a hike and the jacket did not disappoint!!! The pit zips are a plus if you get warm/ hot hiking with a jacket or just in general!

This jacket finally arrived yesterday after a mishap with shipping. After unfortunately losing my XeroCloud 3L that I'd only had for a couple months, I bought this on sale as a replacement. The fabric is what I expected from 70 denier: it's crinkly and heavyish, more similar to a Torrentshell than the XeroCloud. I had some issues with the XeroCloud wetting out, though, and so far, this jacket seems to be more waterproof. My two complaints: 1) it seems excessively large – it seems about 2" bigger in the body and shoulders than typical for a men's small, and about 3" longer in the sleeves, which cover almost my entire hands before I velcro them. I'm 5' 6," ~140lbs, and fit pretty squarely in a Men's S with a 38 chest, but this is big. 2) the pit zips have a one-way zip, and open upward instead of zipping down – haven't tested it on trail yet, but seems to be backwards and less convenient

Decent water protection with flaws
No, I do not recommend this product
Not suitable for southeastern rain showers. The jacket keeps me decently dry, but water puddles in the pockets. After a moderate shower, there was probably 1/4 cup of water in each pocket, which I don’t know can be attributed to condensation and makes the pockets useless for storage. It also does not breathe well in the humidity of NC.
