Great All-Around Layering Piece
This is a new piece that has become a staple in my layering system. I’ve used it as a mid layer for winter training runs, a base layer for skiing, and even just to stay warm around camp. One of my favorite features is the built-in neck gaiter. I can pull it up for extra coverage when I need it, then drop it down once I warm up. Even with the hood up, the neck gaiter never feels bulky or in the way. I'm 5’2”/120 lbs: go for the XS if you want a snug fit, or size up to S if you want a bit more room for layering.
My Fave!
This base layer has quickly moved to the top of my favourite list. It is warm and comfortable yet lightweight and slim fitting. I especially like the two-piece turtle neck/hood feature and the colour is divine. It washes beautifully and I lay it flat to dry. I’m planning to gift myself a second one in a different colour - just can’t decide which. I am 5’6, 135 lbs, size M is ideal for me.
Well made
I wanted to like this but realized I really wanted the face protection and just didn't need another sweatshirt type item. So for me, just buying a balaclava (at REI of course) served my purposes better. This does seem well made, and like it would make a good mid layer when you need extra warmth.
Nice fit and warm too!
Bought this fleece top to wear over base layer riding horses in the winter and it’s perfect! Fits nice, allows plenty of movement and it’s warm. The hood and face mask feature are nice when it’s windy out! Will be my new go to in the fall and winter months.
Multi function
Best shirt ever! Base or mid layer! My favorite go to for cold weather.
