I love these pants. I bordered between a small or medium based on the size chart and ended up purchasing a small because so many reviews indicated that the pants ran on the large side. I think this is going to come down to body type for a lot of people. I’m 5‘8“ and my legs are longer. I found the smalls to just be too short on me. I ended up exchanging for the mediums and couldn’t be happier. They are a little looser in the hips, but they don’t look baggy at all and I’m actually really happy with them. They’re super comfortable and I hiked all over Death Valley in them with no issues. I’m 5’8” 29” waist and 39” hips 145 lbs.
These are great! I bought them to have a pair of stretch Zion joggers to use on planes, and they've met that requirement. Lots of pockets, jogger fit, no buttons on the back to dig in while sitting. You might want to size up if you're going for an oversized look/fit. I tried on the medium and the large, and despite usually being an 8 in Prana pants, I opted for the large. The pants themselves are only a little bit larger, but the medium was quite snug in the waist, and a looser fit is comfier for a travel day. My only complaint is no zip pockets, but I knew that would be the case. The cargo pocket on the side is deep enough that I'm not worried about it most of the time though.
These are great for hiking, traveling and climbing. The pockets are deep and I like the cinch top especially not having to worry about them sliding down while doing activities. As a short 5'2'', I ordered the Small, these definitely feel like pants and in order to wear comfortably I have to wear them high waisted (they're a bit higher high waisted than I'd normally prefer but they are comfortable), they are baggy in the mid - area. I debated exchanging for an XS, but I didn't want the fit to change, only the length and high-waist mid area length, but decided to keep the Small afraid they'd shrink.
The quality of this product is good, as expected from Prana. I was worried about the size since I border between L and XL, but the waist was stretchy & gave an extra few inches, so all was good. On my monitor, the pants looked black, but the items looked dark gray in person. I was hoping to get black pants, but I can work with this. Also, if you're Asian like me, the pants may bunch up a bit at the bottom compared to the model due to leg length.
Comfy pants with adjustable waist so they will be comfortable even if my size changes! The only thing is that the waist band gets twisted inside the fabric so it is hard to adjust and the pockets could be bigger but I would recommend these! Good for big booty/thighs
Cool pants useful for movement activities and also great looks! Have received a lot of compliments on them (:
I do love these pants and used them often on my trip to Iceland where it was windy and often raining. One drawback is that I would like them a bit longer OR there should be a TALL option for sizing. I am 5' 7" and wore them with hiking boots, but they crawled up a bit more than I liked. I am slim thus the sizing was not the problem, just the length.
As much as I like these, I’m sending them back. The high waist makes my waist look tiny. Very relaxed fit, super comfortable. I hate synthetic but even though these are 100% synthetic they feel canvas-y and don’t at all have the cheap shine and feel of synthetics. The only reason I’m sending them back is that the elastic on the waist and leg cuffs aren’t stitched to the band (like the wonderland jogger), and they roll when undressing. I know it’s gonna get old re-rolling them flat again, and I can imagine over time the elastic is gonna get permanently twisted. Too bad Prana, u almost nailed it!
Super cute high waisted cut on these pants! I bought the bright yellow, fabulous! The only complaint I have is the waist is somewhat uncomfortable. I am an athletic build at 5’2” with a 29 in waist and the small fit perfect but the waist felt a little uncomfortable. The belt could loosen/tighten more but the elastic just felt slightly snug. Sometimes I’m a medium pant but if I choose a medium in this pant I feel like they’d be super baggy since the cut was so perfect on me with the small so I’ll just deal with the waist. I prefer the thicker elastic in these pants to the thin Kanab pant elastic too.
I got small and medium to try, I'm 5'6@140 pear shape. the small fits great besides for the waist. I struggle getting them up over my hips. they have a built-in buckle that you have to adjust when you need to pull them down/up. the medium... the waist fits and is comfortable, but the rest is huge. I want the small to work out but keeping in the return bag. Women's clothes are so frustrating.
