There’s UVAUVB protection and water resistant up to 80 minutes. It’s trusted by dermatologist and it’s reef safe. The product goes on really smooth and sinks into the skin. I will say that it does leave you a little greasy, but I feel like that’s any sunscreen. I like the packaging and love the cap that it is smart Technology that changes in UV light. Additionally, I like that it has the sanitary packaging over the lid. All in all I feel like this is a great product that will help protect many many people this summer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summer is weeks away, and I can't wait to enjoy the sun! Blue Lizard Sport SPF50 mineral sunscreen This sunscreen offers a dewy glow and essential SPF 50+ protection with skin energizing electrolytes and a great smooth texture for radiant, hydrated skin, and it's waterproof providing all-day moisture with no greasy feel, leaving a natural radiance. It does leave a white cast but briefly goes away quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works really well. I spent a few hours in the sun kayaking and did not get a sunburn and I burn real easily. The one place I missed putting sunscreen burnt horribly! I’m still new to mineral sunscreen so here’s a few things I noticed with this one. It does leave a white cast, I’m pale so it’s not as noticeable. you can feel you’re wearing sunscreen it doesn’t absorb into the skin like chemical sunscreen. So if you hate that feeling you won’t like this. Packaging is nice, a lid that changes color in harmful UV light. It’s safe for the reefs and cruelty free. Better ingredients than many sun screens but still not the best. There is hardly a smell to it at all for those who hate sunscreen smells.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a thick white sunscreen that is really worth the money. When you start to apply, it does feel like it will leave a white cast but as you start massaging it on your skin it disappears. There is no white cast left. I liked the packaging too. And it is fragrance free. Overall I loved this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like blue lizards sports mineral SPF 50 sunscreen lotion because it's moisturizing, doesn't leave a white cast on my skin, easily rubs into my skin, and I like that it's in a squeezable bottle so it's easy to take the product out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blue Lizard sunscreen lotion is easy to apply. It feels cool on the skin and it’s not sticky. It’s lightweight. Scent is not strong, it’s almost not noticeable. I like to use it when I run and I feel my skin is protected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blue lizard sport mineral spf 50 sunscreen lotion is everything you need when looking for protection. Blue lizard sunscreen is free from fragrances, parabens, phthalates and chemical sunscreens that can irritate sensitive skin. This sunscreen is long lasting, easy to apply, and highly recommended by dermatologists and pediatricians. My niece tends to be sensitive to sunscreens, so we tried it on her skin no reaction. I say all in all A+ when it comes to this sunscreen lotion. Thank you Influenster and Blue Lizard for my complimentary sunscreen lotion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I have been using Blue Lizard products for a while now. I have used the regular lotion and a spray version. This is the first time I used a sport lotion. I love that these products are environmentally conscious. This lotion does leave a white cast at first but blends in on my pale skin pretty easily. I don’t feel greasy nor does it make me break out. I don’t particularly love how it smells but that goes away pretty quickly so it doesn’t bother me. I worked out in the gardens in the high humidity for several hours and did not burn. My girls use the other products and successfully prevent burning when they are going to be out for hours at a time. I did not reapply in the time I was out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, the packaging is fairly standard, but what sets it apart is the smart cap technology—it changes color from clear to blue when exposed to harmful UV light. I think that’s such a clever touch, and honestly, something I wish all sunscreen brands would incorporate. As for the ingredients, they’re effective, especially if you’re using the product on scars while out in the sun or at the beach. My main issue, however, was with the blending performance and dry texture. Unfortunately, this sunscreen is not suitable for melanin-rich skin tones. Those with light brown to deep complexions may want to steer clear when it comes to larger areas of coverage, such as the face and body. I would only recommend using it sparingly, perhaps on targeted spots like scars. While the formula is excellent in terms of UV protection and ingredients, it does not blend well on darker skin, and the texture can be quite drying. I’ve used mineral sunscreens in the past that blended seamlessly, so I know it’s possible to achieve both effectiveness and inclusivity. This includes tinted mineral sunscreens, whether or not they’re mixed with chemical sunscreens for better blendability. Some users with melanin-rich skin have tried using less product to help it blend more easily, but this compromises the recommended amount needed for full sun protection—ultimately defeating its purpose. While I commend the formulation from a functional standpoint, I can’t recommend this product for those with medium to deep skin tones due to the lack of blendability and overall non-inclusive finish.
