[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m replacing a marmot jacket I’ve had for years, but is loosing its down. I was hoping marmot would make a jacket similar with a zippered inside pocket, a double front zipper and velcro sleeves that can not squeeze your wrist but allow a much best fit if wearing gloves … or not! This new one fits a FULL size larger also. On the attached tags, it claims one interior mesh picket, which is weak and useless AND a stuff pocket for the jacket. There’s only the useless feeble mesh pocket and two external zipped pockets. I’m very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend because of lack of functionality but do recommend if you don’t need pockets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excelent jacket for winter. Not just the jackets, but the sweaters and every item of clothing they sell. Without a doubt, a very good brand.
Great stylish jacket for the cooler north Florida weather.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like a nice lightweight insulated hoody, but the body is too short by 1.5-2 inches. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs and a medium fits me well with other Marmot jackets (have both the Solus and PreCip jackets in M and their length is fine). This one barely came down to my belt and would leave my mid-section exposed during any movement/bending over/etc. Oddly, I have long arms and Marmot is one of the few brands that make size M with adequately long arms; this is no exception but the torso length is the limitation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this jacket! The sleeves are a nice length and it's incredibly comfortable and warm. We just had single digit temps where I live and I wasn't uncomfortable at all wearing this jacket. I love the websites sizing chart as well. Very helpful. However, we all know nothing is "perfect" so I have one tiny gripe. I am tall (6'5") and the length is a tad bit short to me. It's not bad, I just wish it was an inch to an inch and a half longer.
I would say the best featherless jacket for winter seasons…I have one of the same jacket green color got 2 years back and now ordered the other one which was in sale. This jacket is very light, perfect fit and feels comfort, keeps me warm in winter seasons…I’m from North Carolina and in winters temp goes till -5 Celsius and this perfectly worked for me. This even can keep warm for -10 Celsius.
Male, 5 ft 9 in, 165 lbs. The medium fits nicely and seems true to size chart. I own two other Marmot insulated jackets of similar weight. I wanted to have one with a hood. This one seems a bit colder then my others. The insulation doesn't appear to be evenly distributed. There are thin spots. The hood needs a drawstring.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is nice and lite but warm. It’s the first time in years I’ve purchased a coat with a hood, but I’ve already put it to use at football games. Even with the hood down, I’m appreciating the higher collar. It has nice interior and exterior pockets. The XL fits my 6’4” 235# frame well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color (dark jungle; its sort of a dark green blue color) and the fit is great (I ordered a Medium, I am 6ft tall with a slim build). The jacket is very well made and warm. I only wear Marmot jackets now, and this one did not disappoint.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent warmth to weight ratio, but not very breathable as expected. Above average craftsmanship. Great everyday jacket. Highly recommend. Marmot, please make some matching pants! I promise they will be a huge success.
