Lightweight, not waterproof at all
No, I do not recommend this product
Definitely not waterproof. Water starts absorbing immediately into the outside of the fabric. The worst failure point was the zipper. Was optimistic though that it was just one sided, however when I took them off, the entire inside of the gaiter is soaked/absorbed the water so it won't even dry out properly. Based on the fact this spans the length of my ankle length hiking boots, water started soaking into the shoes immediately. Only got 1 additional star bc these are incredibly lightweight, but not made for rainy, stream crossing, nor snowy conditions!! Might be ok for normal hiking, a little mud.
