Astral  Loyak All Weather 2.0 Shoes

I used these on a week-long Greek sailing vacation. I liked them! They look stylish and they worked great for a variety of activities, including paddleboarding, hanging out on the boat, walks around town, and even scrambling over sharp rocks to cliff jump.They are not as supportive as other zero drop shoes for hiking, but work for short side hikes. They run large compared with customary women's sizes, order a size down if you're in between. I look forward to using these rowing my raft!

This is a rad piece of footwear! Comfortable, stylish, and the new water-resistant membrane works for wet climates. The wide toebox and zero drop style to these shoes make it feel like your wearing house slippers .if your used to a shoe with lots of cushion they may not be for you but if your the kind of person that wants to wear your flip flops year around you should check out the Loyak AW's. They would have received a 5 star review if the size was consistent within Astral's footwear line up. Be aware if your'e buying these I had to size down 1 size. My wife bought a pair and loves them but also had to size down 1 size.

Best shoe I've ever owned. I have two pairs, one for day to day and the other a size bigger for heavy socks in winter. About to order another pair because my size and color are almost sold out. I took both to the Boundary Waters for a 6 day canoe trip. I wore one that got wet when protaging with a thermal sock and they had excellent grip on the trails with rocks, roots and mud. The other pair was my dry pair for the campsites. They are so practical for the city and out in nature! Also, someone complained about the sizing, but it's made clear in the size guide that they run big and to adjust your order off of that.

I love these shoes. I researched for months to find a shoe that would help my feet. I watch a review video of someone with plantar fasciitis and he said the shoes helped. I thought I would give it a go and most of my foot pain has gone away. Thanks for a well made and great looking shoe!

I got hooked on feeling the ground underfoot after wearing Loyaks around town. But I wanted to be able to walk through the yard after a dewy morning without soaking my socks. These All Weathers feel like the perfect waterproof version of the Loyaks and allow me to do just that. Recently, I tied the laces extra loose and have been rocking them as 'slip ons' which I can't recommend enough. Feels like I'm now comfortable going barefoot in the winter!

I really like everything about this shoe except that I feel like the toe box is slightly smaller than the regular Loyaks. I have 4 pairs of Loyaks and wear them daily (yes, I often get asked why they have the three holes in the toebox). I love them because they check my barefoot shoes boxes - zero drop, ground feel, and enough room in the toebox. The All Weather Loyaks feel a bit more like a (slightly) roomier pair of Vans or Adidas. They seem very round when I look at my feet and don't have the same room in the toe box that I love in the OG Loyaks. Other than that one issue, I do like them.

Bought these for my summer camp job that includes whitewater rafting, canyoneering, climbing and backpacking, these suckers are clean, casual and stylish- wore them to prom. bought the white version so they get dirty pretty fast but they also clean up well, we’ll see how the fabric holds up after a bunch of adventuring. As an avid Loyak fan, I’m really stoked about the new All Weather. Out of the box they fit great and the extra heel support and padding provides some extra comfort while maintaining the minimalist ground feel that we know and love from the original Loyaks.

I loved their shoes when the lady sizes were for lady size feet now that they’re doing ladies and men’s sizes together, My size is so big — both and width lengths—so I also bought this shoe one m size down. They do fit better but they’re still too wide and just a touch too short. I wear a medium width and I suppose if you found the old women’s sizes too narrow, you might like these new sizing I won’t be buying anymore astral shoes and I probably own right now about nine pair. If you do find they fit you, they are nice shoes.

I've been buying Astral Loyaks for about 8 years now. I don't use them as water shoes, but more as everyday shoes. I always thought that if I could change them, I'd remove the holes in the front and maybe give them a bit more support. This new model addressed those two things. They fit just like the OGs, but the material is a bit thicker. It will be great for those not-so-hot days, or even rainy days. I can't comment to the durability, but if they're anything like the OGs they will last until the sole wears through.
