Gregory  Terros 25 Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Gregory Terros 25L bag multiple times as a commuter bag, and as daypack out hiking with my dog. Pros: -Overall, the pack is very comfortable, it is a frameless pack that offers lots of support and cushion throughout the back. It is slightly hard, as there is laptop sleeve in the pack, but it adds to the structor. It handled load pretty well (water, bowls for dog, extra layers/jackets and snacks) and never dug too hard into my shoulders. Chest strap is adjustable and was able to work for a female chest. -The pack is very durable, it has the same durability as my other daypack, but also has the pockets / organization functions what would make it perfect for commuting (carried my laptop fine and organized my keys and wallet in front pockets). Cons: -Reason I gave this 3 stars is the biggest con I found that really irritated me while hiking which is the water bottle compartments on the side of the pack. The design of the pack has the reinforcement straps tuck into the water bottle area, which gives it a sleek design, but very cumbersome when hiking. I can't have the pack on and pull my water bottle out and shove it back without it constantly getting stuck on that extra strap (pictured). Very annoying when I have one hand holding a leash and the other trying to shove the water back in. Even with the strap tightened it would still get caught, poor design in that area. -Since it already has a laptop sleeve, I was hoping it would also have an area to clip a water reservoir to alleviate the bottle situation, but it did not. I think this pack might be best for someone commuting or just needing a normal backpack. It fell short for me on the trail when I need my hands for other things and just need to grab a quick sip of water. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Terros is an all-around fantastic backpack. This 25L backpack has 3 main compartments and a padded laptop compartment. My 16-inch laptop fits easily. There are two side mesh water bottle holders. I always use Nalgene bottles, and I was able to use both holders and load up this bag with my laptop and other gear. I was really impressed with the backpanel. It provided more cushion and support than I was expecting. Gregory says this is a versatile backpack for everyday commutes and days on the trail. I would say this backpack could be used for hiking; however, with its multiple compartments and laptop sleeve, this backpack is definitely more geared towards an everyday commuter bag, in my opinion. I did test this bag on the trail. This bag had more than enough room to carry the gear and food I needed, and the backpanel made it easy and comfortable to use. I would personally not use this for hiking. This backpack is not compatible with hydration reservoirs, which, for me, is a non-negotiable for hikes. Also, I wish the shoulder harness was a little bit more substantial. I was expecting there to be a little more padding. This could be problematic for longer day hikes. Overall, great bag. I will definitely continue to use it as my everyday commuter bag. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Well-built backpack with nice organization for light travel. My only comment is the color- it actually looks different on the website. Had I known, I would have changed the color.

I took my backpack on a short trip and just returned. Very happy with my purchase! It fits comfortable on my shoulders and it’s not full of zippers! Just the right amount.
