After my first hike, I'm already impressed. I took them on a 2.5 mile hike with my dog on a local trail, and they were comfortable from the moment I put them on. They really required no break-in. One of my biggest concerns when trying new shoes is my plantar fasciitis, but I was happy to finish the hike without any flare-up. The cushioning provided great support, and the shoes felt stable and comfortable over a mix of trail surfaces. They felt secure without being too tight, and the low-profile design made them feel lighter and more athletic than a traditional hiking boot. My first impression is extremely positive. If you're looking for a comfortable, supportive hiking shoe that feels great right out of the box, I'd definitely recommend giving these a try.
i’ve been really impressed with these shoes. they’re super comfortable right out of the box and don’t have that bulky, clunky feel that a lot of hiking shoes do. they have great grip and felt really stable on different types of terrain. plus, i actually like how they look, which isn’t always the case with hiking shoes. the only thing i’d mention is that, in my opinion, they run a little big, so i’d recommend sizing down a half size. overall, i’d definitely recommend them!
I’ve been breaking in the adidas TERREX FREEHIKER 3 LOW GORE-TEX hiking shoes here in the Midwest, and they’ve been so comfortable right out of the box! 🥾🌿 The cushioning is amazing, the grip feels super solid, and I can’t wait to take these on the road for even more hikes and adventures. They’re definitely coming with me on my next trip! ⛰️✨
I got the Terrex Freehiker 3 Low as a travel shoe because I have plantar fasciitis, a mild bunion, and a not so mild Morton's neuroma. I love to walk through cities, so packing the right shoe for airports and travel is a critical decision. I was attracted to the neutral greige color, and my chic younger friends have been keen on Adidas lately. These shoes did not let me down. The waterproof feature is important if you're only bringing one pair of walking shoes, and the neutral look worked with everything easily enough. I sized up to accommodate my orthotics and was happily surprised by the extra heel lacing adjustment, which helped lock my foot in place. I highly recommend them and am thinking about buying a second pair to save for travel, while letting this pair become my everyday shoes.
Love the color and the fit. This is the perfect travel shoe to adventure with. From exploring new towns to hitting the trails this shoe was comfy right out of the box. Super durable and stylish at the same time! Best of both worlds.
I recently grabbed these for my regular hiking and love them! They are so comfortable. I have been a long time adidas fan and it just keeps getting better. I do think they run slightly smaller than ultra boost so something to consider.
