The adidas Terrex Free Hiker 3 Mid GORE-TEX hiking shoes are one of the most comfortable hiking shoes I’ve worn. I live in the PNW and hike many different types of terrain for a variety of activities, and these are a solid and versatile shoe. They perform like good quality hiking footwear, but feel much more like a supportive sneaker than a bulky hiking boot, which made them really comfortable right out of the box with very little break-in time. I really like that these shoes are naturally a wider fit. Normally I need shoes that are marked as such, but these fit great at a standard width, and even have room for good quality hiking socks. They are extremely functional and adapt well to varied terrains which is essential for me in a hiking shoe. They are also extremely light weight which makes such a difference when you’re putting in miles. I I also felt like they were very breathable and my feet and socks stayed comfortable for the hours that I wore them. Overall these are an excellent choice for anyone who’s looking for a shoe like this that can perform many different functions and still look clean and casual. These shoes were gifted by Adidas in exchange for my honest opinion.
Great functional and comfortable shoe! I am outside a good bit and get a lot of steps in regularly, so I was glad to find a shoe that balanced comfort and support. They’re lightweight which was a pleasant surprise, so they’re easy to wear. I got them in black, so they go with everything, and will definitely be getting a lot of use out of them.
These are definitely an improvement from the freehiker 2. Better ankle support, the hyperboost midsole makes them lighter, and a mesh type upper that is still gore tex. This is my 1st pair of the v3, overall my 15th pair of the freehiker line.
this shoe is not confortable like the other shoes I bought in the past like the other ultra boost terrex
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable boots! My favorite now! I will be buying the other two colors as well!
