Thin material that is useful when hiking.
I am thankful that I received this rei co op women’s screen line alpha hoodie for free to review from Influenster and rei co op. It is extremely airy and reminds me of a tight knitted hoodie. Being Summer, I appreciate that the breeze flows through it just enough to keep me comfortable and not overheat me when I am hiking in the woods. It is just right for a light chilly night. The material is soft and feels a little silky, plus is gentle on my skin. This lightweight apparel is made of 100 percent polyester. It is machine washable and dried with a low tumble dry. The fit is just right. The hoodie was okay, but looked a tiny bit awkward on me. I do like how it protects my ears from big winds and the sun. It will be a nice beach hoodie to protect me from the sand on a windy day.
want to gatekeep it’s so good
I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the best thing I have ever put on my body. I usually don’t like fuzzy layers, but I loved the color of this. I am usually between an extra small and a small, and I got a small. I think this fits a little bit on the bigger side, but not so much just to be oversized. A small fits me perfectly, with room to spare, but not so much room as that it is baggy. It is unbelievably lightweight, but yet so warm. I truly cannot wait to take this backpacking. I never write reviews, but this thing is so amazing that I had to share my thoughts.
Very warm, very lightweight!
This REI screeline alpha hoodie jacket is pretty nice! It feels so lightweight, and it honestly doesn’t feel like it’s going to be that warm at first. But once you get it on, it keeps you nice and cozy! I really like it. The purple color is super cute and a change from my typical black or grey jackets that I wear. The material is pretty soft overall, but also feels like it’s going to be pretty easy to snag; I hope that is not the case but we will see how it wears in the future! This is a great fall jacket for when you don’t need a super heavy coat yet but definitely need something on the arms to keep you warm. The elongated neck hoodie part is pretty cool, it will help keep your neck warm as well when the hood is up. Overall, I think this jacket is very nice, but also a tad on the pricey side. The brand is very reputable though! I would recommend. I received this free for review, all thoughts are my own.
Lightweight and warm
The REI Co-op Women’s Screeline Alpha Hoodie is lightweight, easy to stuff into your pack and warm. It also collects light water beads and doesn’t absorb them. This is a fantastic hiking sweater!
Comfortable and stylis!!!
I really like that it is super lightweight but still gives you the extra layer of warmth without feeling bulky. I live the comfortable fit and little details like thumb loops.it is perfect for hiking,traveling or just being outdoors when you want lightweight extra layer
Excellent under layer
Material in thin but comfy. Not scratchy which is nice when part of it covers your face. Excellent under layer for winter. No pockets but as an under layer this isn’t a big deal.
Lightweight
This is very comfy. Super light weight. My daughter loved the color. My only downside is that it’s 100 percent polyester which I’m not huge on but other than that great hoodie.
Ultra light, Warm and Pretty
Took this on an August backpacking trip in the Eastern Sierras. It was super lightweight and felt nice to wind down in every evening at camp. I used it expressly as a lounge piece and not for hiking in. The hood fit me perfectly and I received compliments on the gorgeous color. I do baby it though since it can snag.
Sizing is WAY off - these are huge!
These are MASSIVE. I got a medium and it fits like an extra large. I like the hoodie but will be returning for a smaller size.
