Stio  Pinedale Pants - Women's

I love how the Pinedale pant fits and feels, however the construction is questionable and the durability is poor. On the first wear, both cuff seams ripped in several locations. The pants and quite stretchy which is great for mobility and comfort but the cuff seam didn’t match the stretch. The fabric is great, water resistant just the right amount. The interior has a light fleecey-ness which is warm on cooler hiking days. The outer of the pant near the zipper pocket became scuffed and worn very quickly, the third time I wore these. Maybe designed more for style and not for outdoor adventures. I’m about 5’4” and weigh 120 lbs. The 2S was a perfect fit for me. The belt in the back kind of pulls upward, not the best design imo.

This is a well-made technical pant, which I why I gave it 4-stars. Unfortunately it didn’t suit my more curvy body, even sizing up from my normal size 14 (I should’ve looked closer at the fit description, to be fair). It is also a higher rise in the waist , so on my shorter frame it just looked bulky and I returned it. If you’re on the taller, slender side, this would be perfect.

I love these pants. Great travel pants to cooler temp areas. Stretchy and warm. One star off for this pair. I bought the blue and in the pic it has a light blue logo/belt. I must have received the new version because the logo/belt is a deep violet color. I’m a little torn because the darker color makes the logo less visible and I don’t like wearing many things with noticeable logos, but the light blue is one of my favorite colors so I had been looking forward to that.

Awesome pants! They are so comfortable and functional. I usually go for the tall length in most pants, but I found that the regular was long enough ( I am about 5’10).

I bought this pant in the mauve-pink color in 2025. I never thought I would fall in love with hiking pants but these were totally worth the price. Comfortable with decent pockets, breathable, quick-wicking. I'm 5'5", weight usually sits between 135-140 pounds, waist is 26", hips and glutes about 38", thighs 23.5", and a 15-16" calf, my usual size for pants is a 6/small, jeans I usually buy in a 32" inseam. I bought the regular length, they are a smidge short for my preference. Next purchase I'll probably go with the long.

Just had these pants on a multi-day backpacking trek in the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Day two it rained, was about 40 degrees (in August) and we had 30-45 MPH steady winds. Classic NH day. These pants kept me comfortable, even when wet. I never chaffed, I stayed warm and got compliments on them when we arrived at the hut. Will definitely get another pair.

A great looking and well constructed pant, just not for me. The waist felt too high, I prefer a mid-rise, and the material felt too thick for hiking. I like to put a base layer under my hiking pants when it gets cold and the slim fit of the Pinedale leg wouldn't accommodate this comfortably.

I love my old Pinedale joggers so just tried the pants. I really didn’t like the way the belt felt so I cut it off and am much happier. It looks integrated, but if you are willing you can permanently remove it and not damage the pants.

I really like these pants they have great range of motion, they dry quickly. They don’t have an odor after multiple days of hiking. They are warm when it’s cool and cooling when it’s hot. Highly recommend.

Great, comfortable fit. Easy to dress up, but sturdy enough for hiking. Pockets without bulk. Really appreciate the shorter inseam option.
