The bag is large enough for most uses and travel. It appears to be made out of durable and weather proof material. Not sure about submerging it. 😂 It does have zippers. There are straps for using it like a backpack and they have a pocket to hide when not in use. There are side straps to tighten the bag down to keep contacts from shifting. It's not heavy but it's definitely not light or ultralight. Its best home is for traveling. Be that in a car or airline. The material appears to be easy to clean and stain resistant. It didn't attract dust on my recent trip. Good bag and I expect it to last for some time.
The Big Haul Duffle impressed me in a number of ways. First, it comes in a zipper pouch and packs down surprisingly small for storage. The duffle’s construction and material make-up cause it to not only be bombproof, water resistant, and durable, but lends enough structure to allow you to easily pack and load without it collapsing on you. I took this on a multi-day river rafting trip and had all my overnight gear packed in stuff sacks and packing cubes, which slotted into the rectangular shape perfectly. It fit a tent, sleeping bag and pad, camp chair, toiletries, clothes, and other miscellaneous items with ease. I also really like the cinch straps on either side for compression if you don’t fill it up. The integrated backpack straps are a huge plus, especially if you planned to use this for airline travel, but they stow away nicely and you don’t even notice they are there if not using. The Big Haul 60 duffle is ideal for road trips too, as it’s large enough to bring everything you need in one bag that is easy to rummage through in the car, or pick up and take to your campsite or into your Airbnb for the night. Highly recommend!
