Great Idea. Didn’t survive the jaws of steel
I bought yjis toy knowing that our dog was likely to destroy it (we have to use an XL pupsicle ball because he demolished the L). He managed to bite down hard enough to pop it open and crack the interior part. For a normal dog, this would be great. He’s just not normal. I’m not unhappy, it still works, and he has fun with it, we just have to take it off him when he runs out of treats.
Dog took to it right away
I like the idea of the product. It's the largest rolling treat/food dispenser I've found. I'm concerned about longevity as it shows teeth marks from regular use, just after 1 use. The other product I have from this company (pupsicle) has been more durable. So I'll reserve my full recommendation to see how durable it is. A product with 3 pieces made from plastic or rubber at the $30 price point should be pretty durable to be worth the cost, in my opinion. But for right now it is our main feeder for the dog. The large holds 2 cups.
Enriching, fun, and practical
My Golden Retriever is a chow hound and I’m always looking for ways to slow down his eating. This is perfect. Every few meals I put the kibble in this and let him work at outside. He’s fascinated and it takes him a long time to get out every bit. Even if your dog is’t obsessed like mine, I’m sure they will enjoy this as enrichment.
