Love the Fit and Feel But I wonder How Long They're Going to Last
Putting on for the second time, I noticed a couple threads pulling out

Worn a few times and absolutely love the pants. Size was perfect. Impressed with the weather resistant material.
Shoulda gotten the regular length
I like the hand of this fabric— not too fine, nice texture. Great for climbing in the alpine, for sure. I wish all the pockets were deeper though~ they kinda seem like "fashion" pockets, except for the zippered 5th pocket, it's plenty deep! The back pockets are zippered. The thigh "map" pocket is way too shallow for a map, or a chocolate bar. The button waist closure is easy to use and the adjacent off to the side composite buckle for the belt is solid, effective, convenient and out of the way. Nice design! I'm 5'8 and 140lbs; I got a 30 short~ shoulda got the regular length. In the Rivet Cords I get the 28 short. I live in a mountain town and this piece is great for getting into the fall season around town, café and bouldering circuits.
Pinedale Pants Rule
This is my 2nd pair. Have used rafting in Canadian Arctic, hiking the PNW, and traveling in Europe. Exceptional craftsmanship and durability. The zippered pockets secure valuables. Repel rain nicely. Interior belt is a great feature. Look good in pub after day in the mountains!
Tough and comfortable
My favorite backpacking pants for cool weather. Very tough and stretchy material. I probably would not hike in these if temperatures are above 80F.
