Super happy with these. They fit great and are very comfortable, especially with the venting and stretch panels. I’m coming to these from another pair of outdoorsy pants, the popular ones that hail from the northern part of Europe, and I much prefer these. The cut is more generous (ei not built for a skinny Scandinavian person) and they look more understated. Two minor complaints are that the thigh pockets aren’t gusseted so they don’t have much room (though this also contributes the sleek look of the pants), and that there is no laces hook on the bottom of the pant leg so you can use them like a gaitor, which is something I surprisingly used a lot on the other pants.
This is a good overall outdoor/utility pant. It’s a little bit casual for work if you need to be at the “ath-leisure” level. Fit is very comfortable and roomy. Definitely not too tight when moving around. The stretch panels help a lot. And lots of comfortable pockets!!! I did not test it under wet conditions. I will be comparing it to the Klash pant, which in my opinion has excellent water shedding capabilities. I also think that the Klash pant is a bit warmer. I’ve only had these for a month or so and so time will tell how well they wear Under rugged outdoor use…
Radikl outsider pant is THE best travel pant for security, fit, comfort. I have several different purported security travel pants. They are either too heavy, too bulky, sloppy, all cotton that soaks wet, too fragile/weak material. This radikl outsider has it all including rock solid front zipper thigh pockets that hold all travel documents, cash, and zippers that are tight and impossible for a thief to open while you are moving. And, these pockets are in your front view vs sides or rear. Get-em, and keep your stuff.
After finally wearing out my Resistor Chinos after climbing several dozen steep rock scramble mountains in the Adirondacks, I decided to try the Radikl Outsiders as a replacement. The Radikls fit perfectly, look good, and the material seems to be very rugged for the steep, rocky Adirondack Mountain climbs. The problem is, unlike the superior stretch of the Resistors, they lack the freedom of movement around my knees on steep climbs, even though there are stretchy softshell panels in the pants legs. I have to pull the pants legs up a couple of inches to get the appropriate amount of flex to be comfortable on steep climbs, and that’s inconvenient. So, they’re okay on long hikes on relatively flat terrain, but they’re not good for mountain climbing as the Resistors were. I think maybe a redesign of how and where the softshell panels are incorporated into the pants legs would be an improvement in the Radikl Outsiders.
The Radikl outsider pant is very well made, true to size, great zip pockets on front of leg to hold wallet, love the ability to tighten the leg cuff to keep the pant tight on the leg when hiking in snow or brush. Tough material that is going to last a long time. Great ventilation for warm climates
As advertised, these pants are exceptionally made and have all the bells and whistles. I appreciate how versatile they are depending on temperature, you can cool off if needed or zip up for warmth. I can definitely see these pants lasting for years.
Took these with me to outdoor trip to jackson hole WY. had base layer on and these pants -- stayed warm and dry in the snow and rain temp 14 - 30F. Fantastic mobility, secure pockets . Bullet proof pants that let you move and go freely!
Good fitting, good looking. Unfortunately the material picks up every bit of dust and dirt. Look dirty right away. Still like them a lot. Kinda don’t care because they look like I work hard. They also clean up easy by wiping.
Great pants! Kept me warm below freezing temps. Used this pants to hike mount elbert which is the highest 14er in Col. Extremely durable and very stretchy. Has tons of pockets to use as well. I highly recommend this pants.
One of the most durable lightweight pants ever. Took them on a 14 mile hike to a summit. The vent zippers make it cool on the hike up, and the ripstop fabric was breathable but warm when it got windy.
