ASICS  Novablast 6 Road-Running Shoes - Men's

Although the novablast 5 is a little mushy, it is much more comfortable than the 6. The upper is different in the 6, not as soft as in the 5. The FFBlast Max at the heel is slightly firmer in the 6. Not sure whether the 6 is slightly taller than the 5. I twisted my ankle the first time wearing the 6.

Very disappointed with the Novablast 6 — extremely loud squeaking I was really excited to purchase the ASICS Novablast 6. This was actually my first pair of ASICS running shoes, and I specifically pre-ordered the latest model because I expected a high-quality shoe from a well-known running brand. Unfortunately, the shoes have been squeaking loudly every time I walk in them since I received them. I have been wearing running shoes for work for more than 14 years and have owned 20+ pairs from different brands. I understand that some shoes can occasionally squeak on certain types of flooring, so I initially assumed that might be the case. However, this is completely different. I have tried the Novablast 6 on multiple types of flooring, and the squeaking is still extremely loud. It is loud enough that people can hear me coming from a distance. I contacted ASICS to file a warranty claim, but my claim was rejected and the issue was blamed on the flooring. I have already tested the shoes on different surfaces, and the problem persists. At this point, I am stuck with an expensive pair of shoes that I am embarrassed to wear in public and cannot comfortably use for work. That is especially frustrating because I purchased them specifically expecting to be able to use them as reliable running/work shoes. I am very disappointed with both the product and how this issue was handled. I expected better from ASICS, especially with a brand-new, latest-model shoe that I had to pre-order. I am currently pursuing the matter further through the Better Business Bureau and other appropriate consumer-protection channels because I do not believe this issue was adequately addressed.
