[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved this piece for its versatility, comfort, and breathability. Perfect piece for airport to trail. I do wish I had sized down (I am typically a M in most brands, but torso and arm length, a S would have fit better.) Initially the fabric felt stiff, but after one wash it softened to feel comfortable directly on my sensitive skin. I had full range of motion while backpacking, camping, and paddling in Chugach State Park and Seward, AK(sea level/ 45°-65°). I loved the combination of buttons and zipper at the neck to stomach to provide a variety of self-ventilating options, also I do think one more ventilation hole at each armpit would have been perfect for comfort and to avoid armpit sweat marks. When I wore this piece for hiking at home in North AZ (3,500-12,600ft/ 55°-85°,) I enjoyed that it was moisture wicking and breathable in dry weather. While in Alaska, it also performed very well in water-resistance. Loved the pocket for passport, binocs, or keys. I’ve been testing and reviewing products for several years and love doing it. I’m grateful to have received the Women’s Stretch Zion Half Zip Popover. I’m 5’2” and I chose the large. I could have worn a medium but I like extra room for layers. I wore this while hiking, backpacking, hanging out at can, hanging out in the mountains and fishing. It was windy on several days I wore it but sunny. We got a little cooler and the higher I was in the Sierra…. The colder it got. The temps dropped down to about 48 degrees at 10500 ft on some nights so I actually wore it to bed. Here are my thoughts on it. First, I know the quality of prAna clothing. I’ve been wearing their clothing for 22 years and I still have tops that are literally 22 years old. The W’s Stretch Zion Popover is as the name states… stretchy!!! The material is extremely stretchy and moves with you. You’re not hindered or feel like it’s clinging to you in the wrong way. It’s very comfortable, it’s was comfortable enough for me that I could sleep in it while in the backcountry. It’s light enough to wear but keeps you warm on the cooler fall days. The fabric is breathable and didn’t make you feel uncomfortable at all. It washes well and doesn’t lose it shape. I always wash my clothing in gentle cycle and absolutely no fabric softener!!! I laid it out to dry to help keep it looking nice. It’s very easy to take care of. The pockets are amazing!! You have two on each side of you for your hands, then a spacious middle pocket but wait the third fits your phone. You can keep your phone inside the smaller pocket then have your keys or any other necessity inside the larger pocket without obstructing your pocket for your hands. It’s going to be great when we finally cool off in the Valley. All in all a very nice looking but functional piece of clothing. That’s what I love about this Popover!!! Thank you prAna, I love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn this prAna jacket quite a bit over the last three weeks and really enjoyed it. I did receive the product for free in exchange for my honest review. The fit is big. I am about 5’7” & 175 lbs and normally wear a large. This large was a bit oversized. This will enable me to add layers underneath as the weather gets colder, but if you don’t plan to do that you might want to size down. The fabric is nice, soft and it breathes well. It feels smooth on the skin. It’s lightweight, perfect for cool Pacific Northwest mornings and evenings. It will be ideal for fall hikes, runs and camping as well. The jacket is water resistant. Water beads up on it and brushes off. There is a drawstring on the bottom to cinch up if desired. The pockets are the best part of this product! There is a large connecting pocket in front that zips on both sides. It has a flap pocket in front of that which contains a cell phone sleeve. I wore this jacket hiking and jogging on cool days, to the beach and just hanging out at home on cool mornings. Despite being on the larger side, it didn’t feel bulky or restrict movement. I recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5’7 165lbs with an athletic/curvy build, typically wear a size L and this was pretty baggy on me (would recommend sizing down for a more fitted look). The cinch straps came in handy for a more fitted feel which was nice to have. The material is very breathable/flexible and it never felt sticky when I was getting sweaty. All the pockets are zippered and/or buttoned which added safety for valuables. Really loved the phone holder in the kangaroo pocket. I mostly used the jacket for early morning hikes, long evening walks, and air travel and it was great in all environments. Only been using it for a few weeks but it appears durable for the thinness of the material, and seemed to have stain/water resistant properties. I felt a little chilly with it on while on the plane (high A/C) so I wouldn’t use it for a warm insulated layer, definitely more suitable for cooler climates where you are being more active. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The prAna Stretch Zion Half Zip Popover is an excellent layering piece as we head in to cooler fall weather. It’s soft, stretchy, wicks moisture, repels water and has UPF 50+ for all the sunny outdoor adventures. There are 3 main pockets for storage, 2 of which are zippered, elastic cuffs and hems and an oversized fit. I’ve used at work, and also for outdoor walks, and some cooler morning shorter runs. It’s also perfect for post-run, or post-workout layers. I’m 5’2” and got a size large because I wanted the option to add layers if needed, and prefer an oversized fit, however I think I’d be fine with a medium. This jacket was breathable, especially with the ventilated underarms, and the very neutral Sandbar color is a good, contrasting addition to my super colorful wardrobe, but highly likely I’ll be adding one in the pretty Spruce colorway too. I was so excited to wear test this as I’ve had other pieces of prAna apparel in the past and it’s always been amazing quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore the prAna Lightweight Pullover Jacket on cool mornings in Brevard, NC and while spending time in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, and it quickly became a piece I reached for often. I’m 5’7” and ordered my usual medium. It has a roomier fit, which I actually like because I can comfortably layer underneath it without feeling restricted. The front kangaroo pocket is one of my favorite features. I was able to fit lightweight gloves, a hat, and snacks in it without feeling like I was stuffing everything in. The side pockets are also nice when it is cool out and I just want somewhere to put my hands. What impressed me most was how well this jacket moves. Whether I was hiking or running, I never felt restricted through my shoulders or upper body. It moves with me better than most of the jackets I own, which makes a noticeable difference when I am being active. I do want to be honest about the breathability. Since it is a pullover, I would not choose it as my primary layer for a long, high intensity hike if I knew I was going to get hot. It does not have the ventilation options of a full zip jacket. That said, I have really enjoyed it for cool mornings, evening walks, and sitting around a campfire when the temperature starts to drop. That makes it even more surprising that it has become one of the pieces I reach for most. It is comfortable, easy to move in, and works well for a lot of the outdoor activities I do.

It’s breathable, but keeps the chill away. It’s a perfect layer to throw on for a chilly morning. I had planned to test this in the mountains but our weather here in New Mexico has remained crazy hot still. So I used it as a commute later to work (fit great over my scrubs) and to start my morning workouts/runs around the neighborhood. It has a zipper or snap closure option for the neckline, which I love, and a kangaroo pocket for quick storage on the go. It is comfortable, versatile, and worked well in a variety of conditions without feeling too heavy or overly technical. I wore it daily during a weeklong trip that included camping, walking, traveling, and spending a lot of time outdoors. The weather and temperatures changed quite a bit throughout the week, and I thought the jacket handled those changes really well. It kept me comfortable when it was cooler, but I never felt like I was overheating once it warmed up. When I first received the jacket, I honestly thought it would be too lightweight for my trip, but it really did an incredible job keeping me warm, even down to the low 40's. It also did a great job cutting the wind, which was one of the things I appreciated most about it. The fabric is comfortable and has enough stretch that I never felt restricted while walking, setting up camp, or just being active throughout the day. Even after wearing it for hours at a time, it remained extremely comfortable. I am 5'4" and normally wear a size small, and the small fit me true to size. As far as the design, my favorite detail is the high neck collar. It adds some extra protection from the wind, but I also really like the way it looks. Since this high-neck style is really on-trend right now, the overall design feels modern and polished enough that I would wear it for everyday use or travel just as easily as I would for camping or other outdoor activities. If I am being critical, the only "complaint' I had with the jacket was that I received the popover in black, which can be a bit warmer in the direct sun. I would have preferred a different color, but since it was free in exchange for my honest review, I am happy! After wearing it every day for a week, I was very happy with the fit, comfort, and overall performance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I would like to say that I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This is such a winning pull-over from Prana! I have a little experience with Prana tops, I mostly have bought pants from them in the pants. I am so happy that I was able to test out this pull-over and I am even happier that I keep to keep using it though the fall/winter and into next year (and hopefully many years after that!) Sizing is very generous here. I ordered a Medium based on my past experience with Prana where clothes had run a bit small. I think I could have gotten away with a small in this style as it was a little baggy. That is not a bag thing though, I was able to layer very comfortably underneath it with a sweatshirt. I love the number of pockets here! There is a front kanga zipped kanga pocket and a snap pocket with a little extra pocket inside where you can drop your phone, your keys, or a snack! I would have loved there to be a zip on this pocket too as anytime I would lean over with that pocket unsnapped, my phone and everything else in the pocket would tumble out. I am glad I realized that before climbing and risk having stuff fall overhead! I took this out on the coast with me where we had the whole gambit of weather. Hot, Windy, Chilly, Rainy, etc... It is not a rain proof jacket but it did bead water really well! It was great at blocking wind (which there is plenty of on the ocean) and again, was super layerable so I was kept warm! The color is also so darling. I don't usually buy outerwear pieces in color, so I was really happy to get this in a teal. Not that I am trying to be the most fashionable person on the trail, but it really actually went with everything I was wearing! The sleeves were quite long on me, which is normal since I have pretty short arms, so I won't hold that against Prana. The front closure could be both zipped up and/or buttoned up. I love the flexibility to button or zip (or both!) the front depending on how much breathing room I needed at certain times. I think you can size down on this if you are looking for a closer to body fit, but I really like having the baggier and larger size for the layering and the comfort when sitting and walking. Definitely a win from Prana! This has me excited to try out more of their outerwear tops in the future!

At 5’10” and typically a 4/6, I went with a medium and the sleeve length is perfect with plenty of mobility in the shoulders for using while running or layering under. The material is much higher quality than I was expecting and the color is perfect to wear with jeans or black leggings.
