Brooks  Canopy Waterproof Jacket - Men's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket looks excellent and you would be surprised how thin it is from the outside view. The black color is deep, and the hood has a nice brim that I think should keep the rain out. The caveat to this jacket is that if you run with the hood down, it will bounce and that can be a bit annoying. But if it’s raining or you are cold and you have the hood up, you should be good for a run. Outside of running, if you are wearing it for a cool evening walk or going to do something social, it’s a nice looking jacket with hood. The pockets are comfortable and I have run it through the wash and dryer with no fading and no other issues. The fit is accurate. I’m 5’10” and typically wear a small. This fits my shoulders but if you are a bit bigger in the abdomen area there is room and airflow there.

I haven't been able to test the waterproof abilities of it yet, but I really appreciate how light it is and how compact it can get. The oversized hand pockets are also a plus. Looking forward to many future hikes with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Canopy Jacket is the perfect balance between lightweight and protection from the outdoor elements during the spring and fall months. The material does very well with protection from the wind and the waterproof material does in fact keep your upper half dry. The little things matter when running. My watch is waterproof, however, if I am running in the rain and want to pause my workout with my watch, rain prevents that. Very frustrating. I was caught in a 15-minute rain last week but wore the jacket. Kept my watch complete dry and my phone. Did not have to fool with a baggy or waterproof case to protect my phone! I love the number of pockets he Canopy jacket has and they all have zippers to keep everything secure. The hoodie is a nice added feature and actually will stay on while running. The venting on the mid-back is fantastic as it really does allow for airflow to help keep me cool somewhat and not overheated. The jacket is true to size. I am a little over 5'8" and this jacket fits perfectly in the overall length and sleeve length as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First rain jacket that I’ve found to be truly ultralight which makes it great for both running and warm weather. Nice Brooks offers a waterproof jacket vs. so many water resistant running products. All that said, not cheap.
