I have been searching for the perfect fall jacket for Ottawa, and this one fits the bill for exactly what I was looking for. The fleece is cozy, while the G-1000 is durable and breathable so you don’t get too warm when the sun is shining. I love that there is no velcro on the whole jacket. The sleeves cinch with metal snap buttons, and there is a storm flap with more metal snap buttons. The zipper works flawlessly, too. My only warning is to try it on because it is really oversized! I wear a Skogso Padded in size Large and a Nuuk parka in size Large, from before the recent sizing change. My jackets have the 40.9 inch chest. This one, even the Medium was way too big for me! I ended up buying the size Small, even though my chest and waist measurements are 41 inches and 37 inches. It fits me exceptionally, even with a t-shirt and cotton hoodie on underneath, especially because the raglan sleeves provide room for my broad shoulders. And the sleeves are also a perfect length. I am 179cm and weigh 88kg.
