Excellent all around

I absolutely positively love these pants. I am 511, weigh 180 and waist 33 inch. Mediums fit great. They keep me warm with temps down to teens with just a very light base layer underneath. Yet light enough that I can wear them with temps in the 60s and not feel overheated. Very comfortable. Great pockets. I own two pair, black and camo, and bought my daughter a pair of this past Christmas. I don’t need another pair, but good grief they’re on sale again in a color I don’t have. 🙄

Excellent Choice for Cold Weather Seasons in New Mexico Central Highlands

These pants replaced insulated tech pants from a leading outdoor equipment brand. Since I'm not using insulated pants to climb cutting edge routes in Patagonia or other exotic alpine exploits in the great ranges in the world, and since I'm not a sponsored climbing ambassador for edgy designers of their clothes who supply their ambassadors their clothing, I don't need complicated designs using overly complex and fragile articulations that wear out quickly, I started looking around for well designed, durable down pants for comfort—and longevity. I landed on these, and I'm very pleased. They ARE sturdy, and promise to last several seasons. The fabric seems pretty tough, yet they feel weightless. They have two seams, unlike many technical insulated pants. And they have even surprised me by being fairly water resistant in brief mountain squalls. Thank you!

Versatile Pants

[Employee of mountainhardwear] I got my first pair of these pants a while back and the longer I owned that pair the more uses I found for them , and the more I liked them. This is my fourth pair and I have been getting rid of other pants that these are replacing. Water resistant, keeps you warm when you need it and they are not insulating so they are ok in warmer weather as well. They have a great fit and look really good.

Great Everything pant

Second pair, only bought because I'm afraid I'll eventually ruin the first. I wear these for everything: base layer you can wear to apres for resort skiing, pajama pants at hut trips and around camp at night on the river, even around home sometimes. They never seem to be too warm, and only not warm enough on the coldest windiest of lift rides. These stretch and move well, seem to resist stains and rips.

Exactly what I had hoped for!

Perfection! I've been on the search for a down pant that isn't made for 5'9 guys that are 250lbs. No offense to you fellas but us long legged guys seem to get left out in the cold (pun kinda intended) when it comes to length. Mountain Hardware knocked this out of the park all around. I need another pair before they disappear.

Very Happy

Warm, lightweight and comfy. Looking forward wearing them at camp, so far only at home. Almost too hot when started doing some exercise.

I like them even more than anticipated. Warm, confortable, useful pockets, and thank you for offering a 30 inch inseam.

Awesome stretchy down pants!

Only reason for 4 is the disappointment with the less stretchy waist. I love the fit everywhere else though.
