Sraining problem

I really like the design and fit of this hoodie. The zipper allows a person to vent yet zips up just past my chin. I wore it on a two night backpacking trip to Zion and it kept the sun at bay. However there seems to be major flaw with the material. After getting home from my Zion trip, I noticed there were sweat stains from my backpack straps. After washing the hoodie with Woolite the stains did not come out. I soaked the stains with spray and wash and laundered it again using detergent. The stains didn't come out in the second washing. I've worn various pieces of clothing under the same pack, sweating profusely most times, and I've never had staining that wouldn't wash out. It's too bad because other than the staining problem, the design is perfect.

Good hoodie if its less than full price

I really like this particular sun hoodie. It fits well, is light weight, and seems to provide good protection. It is odd that it does mention it might not work if it gets wet or sweaty which is a bit concerning as far as using it for when I run in the warmer weather but don't want to cover myself with sunscreen. I haven't noticed any issues with getting burnt though. Also it seems pretty resistant to holding smells even after working out in it which is nice. To be clear I did get this on clearance and like it a lot for that price, but I'm not sure its worth the $90 original price.

Great sun hoodie

Really well made. The hood fits well especially with zipper pulled up. Fabric feels good and is lightweight.

great for hot weather

This sun shirt is my go to in hot weather. The problem with hot weather sun shirts is that they are not very durable because they are so thin. This one survived an accidental detour through a holly patch. I was sure I ruined this shirt but it survived. I also like that the front zips down to allow more air flow. I bought this on sale and would do so again

Light weight hoodie

Light weight - I weighed it at 7.5 oz. Think of it as a base layer. Hood is not snug on me with zipper all the way up. For sun, that’s probably good, but could be drafty if it’s used for calls weather. Stitching looked completely intact after first washing. Otherwise I have not had a chance to use it on outdoor outings. I bought a medium and sleeves were long enough for the thumb holes, whereas I often have to get large size for sleeve length.
