Not a softshell
No, I do not recommend this product
I've owned several softshell jackets and I don't see how this qualifies as one, it's closer to a thin windbreaker type jacket. Also the pockets are too high up making it awkward to put my hands in them. Mesh pockets also feel cheap and will snag. Have to return
