Turtleneck! (not sure why I have to create a title
I bought this because it was on sale and I need turtlenecks. It’s synthetic so I’m not sure how it will hold up but it’s warm enough for skiing or working in the woods worn over wool t-shirt with a windbreaker or vest. When I ordered it I did not notice the pattern on the chest so not crazy about that but was cheap and it’s warm so I certainly can live with it!

This shirt is warm and just the right weight for a base layer, but it is very slightly scratchy, rather than soft. It came with a strong gasoline-like smell which does not quite wash out after one tour through the washing machine, although it did dissipate enough to wear. The picture looks close to plain black, which was what I wanted. The shirt is actually closer to dark grey with a checkered pattern across the chest & sleeves. You can’t beat the price, and it seems sturdy & well made.

This top is very warm and has a very flattering fit. The material has that synthetic feel to it but washed up nice (lined dry). Get value and would recommend going up one size.
