Yes , I recommend this product
Overall, this jacket has been performing well. I was hesitant at first to buy considering the price and the low fill power, but have been pleasantly surprised to see that It’s performing as well, if not better, than my 800FP Down Sweater Hoody. Plenty of room to layer, plenty of pockets, and a nice, sturdy exterior that will hopefully withstand years of use. My main issue however- the handwarmer pockets do not have any sort of protection against wind, no zippers, or even buttons. Unsure how this was overlooked, unless intentional... but all that separates the interior of the pockets and jacket is a thin layer of polyester with NO insulation- so whenever a cold breeze comes through and your hands aren’t in the pockets, then you’re getting cold air right inside them, causing a nice cold spot in the stomach area. This primarily happens when the pockets are left a bit open so this could be on me, but having no option to close them securely leaves room for cold air to get in. Aside from this, I love this jacket and hope to get many years of use out of it.
