this might be the best layer ever
It breathes, it wicks, it has thumb holes and a hood. What else could you want? I’m someone who runs hot and sweats a lot. I usually find myself in a T-shirt even when it’s too cold for that because I get so sweaty and feel sticky and trapped in most other layers. But this? This might be perfect. It gives me plenty of warmth while breathing insanely well (which feels like a given because you can see through the grid) and the neck is loose enough that you don’t feel like you’re being choked. Just wore it on a 2hr trail run and, while my friend changed layers a few times, I just had a merino T-shirt and this hoodie on and was (after the initial 1/4 mile warm up) pretty much perfect. Sizing note: I usually wear a women’s L in Icebreaker and Smartwool T-shirts but the women’s M fits perfectly in this one (the L was massive)
